Well I am feeling pretty lucky now after reading your story Chris Rankin because my experience has been completely different. My T-800 1.1 V2 arrived on 4/2 and we put it together that night. So far I am nothing but THRILLED with it. The only issue we temporarily had was the eyes did not light up initially. We played with the on/off switch a little while... it started working and has been working fine ever since.

I had missed out on the T-800 1.1 V1 years ago and it haunted me to no end. When I found out about the V2 I did not want to repeat that situation so I raised the funds and purchased one within days. I have to say storing those massive boxes in the attic took some doing. We put the contents of the 2 huge boxes in trash bags and labeled them. We then broke down the 2 huge boxes and folded them up for storage. They are so big that even folded up they barely fit through the attic door frame. Overall I have absolutely zero regrets with my purchase so far... I just hope that don't change over time.

My biggest fear is accidentally breaking it by something falling against the arms. We have both arms posed in the down position because we like that look the best and think it is the safest position. Let me send out a prayer to the prop gods to watch over my endo... it took me a decade to get one and I hope to enjoy it much longer than that.

i am happy for you and that is the exact position I was in, I wanted the first release and couldn't afford it at the time then the chance came up for this one and I took it. This is what makes it even harder do deal with as some people are getting a good one and of course with my luck I get a duff one. I hope you have many years of enjoyment with it.

Sorry to hear this. Could you please post some photos?

Also, have you contacted SS directly yet? They can't do much if they don't know a problem exists.

why do you need to see photos? As for the other question I don't think you really need me to answer that.

I just find it incredible that you've had these issues. As you've probably read, mine arrived fine. In this day & age where anyone can say anything in a forum, photographic evidence certainly helps support a complaint as serious as yours.

Has SS responded to you yet?

He was nice until the "Pics or it didn't happen" Comment. :lol

What I got had to be 'acceptable' but I wouldn't buy a second one that's for sure. Too much risk and Sideshow has shown me to be very bad at resolving any problems with this. The replacements will be worse that what you got originally.

The switch is in a dumb spot. You have to move around the pieces to the base to access it.

But I got some dvd with hot chicks for instructions.

I think I had to drill one of the holes deeper for the cable to fit properly.

If anyone wants my extra parts let me know... I have an extra Torso or the 2 Arms & Guns... all in original shippers. Torso has some finish scratches and some damage on the hands but repairable.

I just don't use the extensions for the light bar to overcome this problem.

GG hows this middle finger in person? Looks a little weird in the pics

Yeah I just leave a little gap on the switch side. Maybe I'll use a power strip with a button instead. This room doesn't have any switch controlled outlets but I thought of using that too.

Oh, I completely forgot, I do use a remote switch as it is. Sorry, must be Alzheimer's

Play nice and be civil towards each other, guys. You can discuss things like rational adults without resorting to name calling or threats.

I see it again and I infract the guilty party.

Thread cleaned.

Thank you.

From the beginning I've read some people get absolutely crappy endos and some have no issues at all. The 1:2 is pretty nice, I got one, but it came damaged. My mom is gonna buy it off me though since she doesn't care about it, but I will get another as soon as I can find one. I used to have the v1 full size. This one looks nice too, but looks like it's a flip of a coin if your gonna get a good one

It's a lot of money to gamble with. Sorry to hear about your let down CR.

I had problems with the first V.2 Sideshow sent. The paint was chipping, base was cracked on bottom, bolt sticking out (resin holding it so could not screw back in), resin had come out in chest area, and left arm would not go all the way in it's socket. Sideshow's customer service was excellent. I sent it back and they sent me a new one. The new one they sent had some problems too like the lower left leg piston would not connect to the upper leg, paint on leg was not painted, and left arm has a gap by the socket, shoulder pins do not seat all the way down to hold arms in place. I decided to keep this one and fix the problems on my own. Sideshow was very supportive during this ordeal.

These are some of the problems I also live with.

When Sideshow sent me replacement parts they sent me a whole new torso and the 2 arms (with cannons).
However the arms were busted up. I guess if it doesn't get shipped on a palet then this could happen.
And they packed the hoses in with the Torso without any protection for the Torso or the hoses.
Hoses broke and the Torso got scratched up.
Sideshow sounds like they know what they are doing on the phone but they have never proven it to me.
And of course I got the usual "well we are not going to send you any more parts so how about a crappy discount."

the middle finger need to screw it tightly, Vitus.

if you guys receive the damage Endo, i would like to see it, share it with the community. so far my endo was great, only complaints was the weathering on the paint, a bit silly, but it is in battle mode, paint are fixable. Btw it is not hard to assemble this endo.

found a pic online, sideshow battle damage 1/1 Endo version1, full figure, yeah...not a fan on that silly star
