Battery eliminator kits are also coming so you can power all your favorite collectibles without batteries. They will be plug-and-play. There will be collectible-specific kits as well as general-purpose kits to replace standard battery sizes. AAA, AA, C and D will all be taken care of. Combinations of 2, 3 or 4 batteries to be replaced and support for plug standards in every country.

More news soon.

That sounds awesome. If you rig something up for the Hot Toys Hall of Armor, please keep me in mind. I am too lazy to do the work.

BTW, can you post pics of the lights you are talking about?

Re: My office showroom build-out. (IKEA Detolf, Klingsbo, Expedit, custom cabs & ligh

Look at the first post in this thread, specifically the Kenner/Hasbro Star Wars 12" Figure Detolf.

Here's a shot of that single cabinet. The stuff I'll have for sale will look even better - and brighter, I only have 1/3 or so of the LEDs per shelf in that display.

Very cool display bro!

Here are my CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Light) lightsabers. Sideshow's new Vader Deluxe ESB hilt and Hot Toy's Bespin Luke hilt. The finished blade length is 145mm (~5.75").

Usually people make this modification and you get unlit sabers looking like this:

I wasn't satisfied with white blades when unpowered/unlit, so mine now look like this:

And when you power them up, they look like this:

I'm offering mod service, you send me your hilt(s) + payment, and I send you what you see above plus the inverter and power supply to run the saber(s). For Vader, you can also optionally power his belt and chest box plus one or both of the light-up bases from the same power supply - all wires easily hidden..

Shoot me a PM (Private Message) any time if you're interested in anything in this thread, I'm also doing commission work.

Very nice work.

Re: My office showroom build-out. (IKEA Detolf, Klingsbo, Expedit, custom cabs & ligh

Thanks guys! I'm going to be pre-making a bunch of these sabers, so if anyone wants to order there won't be any backlogs or shipping delays. I'm also buying up a few more spare hilts to further improve turn-around time.

Nice display setup here

Very nice, Pix! Knew your attention to detail would pay off with these. When you get a sec, can you PM what you're charging for the various options (or post here, if you prefer)?

Re: My office showroom build-out. (IKEA Detolf, Klingsbo, Expedit, custom cabs & ligh

If anyone happens to notice Vader, Luke or Grievous hilts for sale anywhere at reasonable prices, please shoot me a PM - the usual places I check don't have any at the moment.

Hi mate, you know I want that custom sabers for Luke and Vader. Let me know when you ready to go.

Are these basically the same as natedogs? Also pixelpiper, are you able to work with a hilt that has the default plastic blade attached?

Re: My office showroom. (Display, Lighting, Mod Tips & Service)

More parts arriving soon, so I'll be posting a link to a dedicated thread shortly, along with a bunch more photos. I'll hopefully have some time for on-shelf shots of Luke and Vader this week to be posted here.

Nice setup Pix. What Goku figure is that?

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's from Bandai, bought around 1996, you can move the arms with a small lever on the back. I also have a mint in package adult Goku with detachable clothing, but I'll eventually sell that one, as the only series I liked was the first one where he was a kid.

I sent you a PM (Private Message) on April 3, didn't you see it? If you look at the top of this page you'll see a line of menu items, one of them labeled "Messages" - that one will have a number next to it indicating that you have new messages waiting to be read.

Alternately, if you click on the Settings button at the top you'll see at the very top of the resulting content, under the board header, a list of all your unread messages.
