Coolprops Pyramid guard Predator mask

New one from Coolprops, they seem to be knocking these out of the park and they appear to be much more accurate than Sideshows efforts. Really not sure what is going on with the lenses mind but they do seem to offer some reflection at least, and as nice as the bases are, they aren't as space savvy as Sideshows and HCGs. Presumably SS will sell this one as they did the Gort bio.

This looks great except for the lenses. I think I will wait for sideshow to make one, I have all the other avp bios and would prefer a matching stand. The weathering and sculpt look awesome tho, I really hope sideshow does as good a job on theirs.

I really like the stand but Ironically it is one of the main reasons I'm not buying these. While they look better than Sideshows attempts, they are not space efficient at all. The ability to wall mount Sideshows and HCG's masks is a huge bonus as space becomes more of an issue.... Looks pretty cool as well. This mask looks great though imo, always liked this design and Coolprops seem to have nailed it, I'm guessing it is cast from a screen used example.

Its the same company that released the Guardian mask. Proto pics look great but we know how SS are with proto and then the actual item.

That's what I mean... they were coolprops (Plural) when they only had one item out. Now they have 2 so I guess all is good
Anyway I ordered the guardian with a 50$ coupon I won from sideshow. I'll probably lose 20$ reward points though.

I kinda like this one and I don’t mind the lenses either. In the second photo they look to be sort of translucent and milky? Stands out from the others I have seen. Biggest downside for me is the base it looks more Predator 2 than AvP.

This still isn't up for preorder anywhere, I hope it gets made, I have been talking myself into getting one. It's one of my favorite designs and it was used in both avp movies so I wouldn't mind having two if sideshow ever makes one and if sideshow doesn't I would be mad at myself for not picking this up. The adjustable stand is a really cool idea and the lenses seem to look pretty good in person.

I hope your right about sideshow picking this up. I think the lenses are the same, the original pics just had weird lighting but you could tell they are not painted, they seem to be some kind of glossy metallic sheeting and I think they will look really good in person as this new pic shows.

No problem I think the stand looks ok, I would have liked it done more like the stone pyramid color and design, but it might have washed out the bio. At least the bio stands out from the base this way.

I definitely agree. I like the angle of the bio on the stand, it makes it seem like it is mounted on the wall like wolfs bio was in avpr rather then sitting on a stand. I think it takes up less space then sideshows stand because of that steep angle. What would have made coolprops stand really awesome is if you could have removed the bottom base piece and wall mounted the back piece, maybe make the back pieces so they interlock or fit together. Imagine all the avp bios wall mounted like that so it looked like an actual wall surface with bios attached
