No i didn't. Did i ever say i hated they way it looked like your arse? It's still an AMAZING looking figure. But now it's got QC issues,(and i would like to be able to pose it) Still looks great and i love the suit and the height everything. Get your facts straight! I woulda bought it in 2 seconds if it didn't have shoulder issues, instead of complain over and over and over and over and over like you.

Grammar still sucks though. As much as this figure.

:goodpost::hi5: I still want to get it as I actually like the design of the suit. and the new one is similar to the traditional.

As much as the shoulders are f'ed, you could almost make a case for this fig as the suit holds the shoulders in place
At a reduced cost, imo

I'd love to get it, but the shoulders are a deal breaker.

Funny!

I don't even have 700 posts yet.

You, on the other hand.....and still can't write.

You should know better.

Anyway. I'm glad I was right about this figure. If SSC ships it to me, I'll just keep breaking this fu$&er until they have no option but to give my points back.

Yesssss.

if you get a 1/6 walker you can do a grandpa pose.. just get a couple 1/6 tennisballs for the feet of the walker. my grandpa has better range of motion in his shoulders though.

You can't say "I was right" bc of a QC issue with the shoulders you or anyone else had no idea was coming. You were complaining about how it looks, and those who have it in hand say it looks great. You can't be "right' where others are concerned regarding an opinion that is yours.

yeah you can even tell in my review i was stoked over that figure until his shoulders broke.

Hello I have recently got my hot toys amazing spiderman from an Hong Kong seller on eBay and it was fine out of the box. When I posed it however with great care the right shoulder broke , the next while gently posing the figure the left shoulder broke. I have many hot toys figure over the last four or five years and I'm one of the top reviewers on YouTube theclipperking. I have mentioned in my review that this has happened to my figure , also another YouTube reviewer I know has had the same problem. I think it would good of you to replace our spiderman bodies because we have no way of changing the body without damaging the suit. Also I would be happy to put out to another video sayin hot toys had taken care of the problem and still advice other to buy your produce. Thanks and please reply Ric Bates

understandable from one point, but completely unacceptable from the other... cant wait till they get flooded with replacement requests.. guess it will be sideshows mess to clean up

I refused to touch my spiderman figure (mainly cause i'm really digging this pose despite its flaws/defects) to risk the other shoulder breaking as well, so I took 2 shots from this pose and did the best I could in explaining the defects on my piece:

I want this figure. I am still getting this figure because I know how exactly I am going to pose him.

I have a spare ASM head coming from Hong Kong that I won on eBay and I am going to remove the mask and have it for him to hold in his hand. This also gives me the possibility of using my bootleg AG sculpt too, so posing options will not be too limited just a bit less dynamic.

I know exactly how limited this figure's range of movements will be and yes it does point straight at a terrible combination of poor quality and bad planning. So yes, it does indeed disappoint greatly. I have the two previous SM-III figures and whilst they are not perfect, they are truly amazing to pose. Strange how this particular 1:6 scale world turns.

I don't understand, don't HT sell a large quantity of these figures to people with eBay stores?

Surely that's where most people get their items, eBay?

Obviously HT aren't too fussed becasue they still get paid and don't have to take any responsibility

As for the eBay seller, as people have said, can we really expect those guys to take on the responsibility of going back to their point of sale? Which would surely be HT's? Right?

I don't know what is the right or wrong answer to this, if it were a brick and mortar store, you would go back in

It's still a store, is it simply because it's on eBay that we assume the seller shouldn't have to go back to point of sale?

Thoughts on this guys?
