I love how one challenge to do a Star Wars customs (or request) is turning into a complete line of characters. Each one is better than the last.

Thanks guys, i know a lot of you hate real hair but I think if done right it can push the realism.

I don't like the hair HT is using, synthetic barbie hair, the next step would be for them to use that material (lamb wool), it's really thin and pretty much in scale.

Next real hair challenge.
This time with Qui-Gon Jinn.

Basically I used the rainman Ra's head.

Shaved the hair and beard.
Resculpted the beard and glue real hair.

For this one the hard part was not to see any trace of glue at the roots.

Hair needs to be futzed but i need to let the glue dry for a night.

Here's the head quickly put on the body.

where did you get the head sculpt at I would like to find one

Hair are completely finished now. I had to add some more strands here and there. So all in all I htink it took around 4-5 hours just for the hair.

I need to futzzed with the cloak a bit more and customized the leather boots.

Looks great! I have a suggestion if that's ok, the hair looks fantastic of course but you could try to lighten it up a bit. He looks very young, which might have been intentional?

Well yes that was my plan, problem is that the hair doesn't come in much colour. That was the closest I could find. The other brown were much light, actually too light. I had to make a compromise.

Ah, I understand. And coloring the hair I guess would take ages considering how thin the hair strands are. But it's still pretty close to his hair color. In some scenes the hair seemed darker than in others. Again, love your work with this figure. I've never seen such an intricate hair job in 1/6th scale.

Who are you planning to do next? I thought I saw an Anakin a while ago but not sure if you completed it?

Back from Holiday.

Some progress on Chewie.
Hands are done and I reduced the size of his forehead. Looks way better indeed.

I quickly put the hasbro bandolier to take some pics and I plan on reworking the crossbow.

Next Han Solo.
Basically all SS clothing.
He is on a TTM19 body with narrow shoulder arms.
I also reduced the thickness of the neck by Dremelling the inner socket.

Head is enterbay with the hair dremeled on the side and resculpted too look less puffy.

and a pics with chewie to show the size. I maye add some leg extenders to chewie to increase his size a little more.

Nice job, yet Han Solo, just doesn't seem to appeal to me..

Like you say the hair colour depends on the light. When under light it's much lighter. Pretty much like in the movie. I'm almost done with anakin.
