Guys we should all tell Hideo Kojima on twitter that we are dying for a Solid Snake hot toy figure. He seems to be heavily into figures and posts them on twitter all the time. He might even hint if Hot toys have something else coming out. Lets give it a try

He's too busy stroking the merchandise shaft of Big Boss to care about Solid Snake.

Even if he did make a Solid Snake figure it would have the head of Big Boss anyway

Unfortunately, the likelihood of this being true is very, very high. :slap

At some point in time Solid Snake had Big Boss's head. Just look at the MGS2 Snake on the Legacy Collection.

His articulation isn't much, but he can hold poses a whole lot better than the Boss. His legs can't move much at all.

The only thing that's changed since I voted back then is that I like Raiden much, much more than before thanks to Revengeance. Now I wouldn't mind at all if Raiden gets the HT treatment first.

That is, if this line isn't already cancelled.

Well I wouldn't say it was over rated

If anything it makes more sense to use die-cast on characters that had metal parts and would benefit from it

After all it only makes the figure more realistic and when that's the whole aim of the creation of these figures (bar profit) then it's actually a good thing

People not wanting it because it adds more to the retail is different to it being overrated. Sure people can not want it die-cast to save money but it's the next step in realism

As much as I don't like IM it makes sense that they made some in die cast and I bet despite the price they add more to the figure

Die-Cast ages, and sometimes the mixture of die-cast, the paint used and the oil in your fingers reacts. And also with a Figure like a Raiden where you may want to do an extreme pose the balance would be baddddd

For sure I wouldn't want it on Raiden either metallic paint is fine, I was just saying in general terms

I wasn't posting in reply to you not wanting it die-cast either I was merely commenting on die-cast in general

I would have thought this late in the game they are leaps and bounds in front of the original die-cast figures just like rubber bodies are undoubtedly far superior to their predecessors

I just think it's the only way to move forward in terms of realness etc
