This is another variation, but like you can see is not that difficult to do a Lone Ranger, the pants should be outside the boots and the brim of the hat is to short but other than that not bad, about the bagde you can get it from the Disney Lone Ranger figure or also do a sticker or if you have the know how out of resin.

I really want HT to surprise us and give us LR and Tonto-
every audience I've seen it with thoroughly enjoyed it and stayed well into the credits.......
I consider this a crowd pleaser despite what the media says about it!

Unless the movie blows up and does well in International markets I fear HT is going to drop this like a hot potato, ala Green Lantern.

It's an outright bomb here in the States

We'll get at minimum a Tonto. HT will give the Johnny Depp love especially because he is huge in Asian markets. It may be bombing here but I think it'll do relatively well in foreign markets. Not necessarily enough to warrant a sequel (maybe) but it'll be enough to peak at least one figure.

If they only make Tonto, that'll be a new level in "What The ****ery" from Hot Toys. That makes even less sense than not making Rorschach for Watchmen. They could get away with that because the movie wasn't called "Rorscach." This, on the other hand; well, if they don't make the Ranger, I'd rather they not make anything at all.

What will most likely happen is that they'll make Tonto first and give it the ol' "Look for the Lone Ranger to be riding in soon!" and simply judge if it is selling well or not. Let it up to the fans to either buy it or they won't make the Lone Ranger. Depp will sell, there is a reason why Medicom for example pumps out just about every Depp they can get their hands on. The Lone Ranger though will depend on the popularity of the film. Now if the film is a huge hit in Asia, they won't give a crap about it doing poorly here and pump the license.

They make figures of the Predators and Terminators despite the films not performing well with recent installments because they sell. If Tonto and the Lone Ranger sell then look for them to even pump a Silver into the line just to take advantage but I don't think it's as much of a lock as some people think.

We've already seen a Lone Ranger WIP so most of the development costs would be already out of the way. Tonto is such an elaborate figure it would cost a lot to develop him, even though he might be the more popular.

So if they only do one, it'll likely be the title character.

I seriously wonder if they'll make ANYTHING from this movie. I feel a LR and T would be so incredible but even heard in Asia it is doing poorly.....RATS

Yeah but it was revealed on opening weekend. Lone Ranger figures are still MIA, and that movie is even out in Asia now.

I figure ZERO from HT...as much as I want them..the media has labeled it as BOMB and it is sending shockwaves all over the Earth that it is one....
