Started my dc line with 6 joker ex 5 bought at 700 each 3 joker regs.
Didn't care for ivy so a pass, 2 batman ex, and now 6 harley ex. Only collecting what i like. Grundy maybe. I'm only collecting certain batman lines and costumes like riddler in a suit i would buy other than that no buy. Superman line i get the preorders for my friend because he likes superman so all supes line are for him.

Why so many jokers?

Everyone thinks its for me to flip, but i like joker and harley as my batman villain characters. So they're the ones i would buy multiples of, i would only get rid of it if money is really needed for emergency. But other than that, it will be mine as a collection. Although i had to sacrifice my shoe collection for these as to make space, i don't mind at all. But again it is your opinion, i don't mind if you think of me the same. I will collect multiples of what i like no matter what.

Wonder how many people would pay $350 for a PF Alfred, lol. Also, what would be a good pose for him :lol

Nope! I'd want Alfred but he'd have to cost less. $360 is the entry level PF price now. He's probably not in current production so if they ever made one by the time he's ready for PO it'd probably be more like $400 at that point, and my overall list would be severely cut anyway.

But black haired comic version. In the movies and cartoons he's always white or grey haired. I like that Alfred's the most involved butler in all of comics. He actually helps Batman a good deal in the comics. But the pose... How can we escape him pouring a drink or carrying a tray, lol...

A beastly good Commissioner Gordon with light up bat signal base will rule.

:exactly:

I ticked Batman, Harley and Ivy - all ex.

I'm relatively new to buying things from Sideshow, so I wasnt around at the time of Joker so I missed out on him. Love Ivy as a character though and I was around at the time so I was able to order the ex.

I didn't get an order in for Batman though, but I did get myself on the waitlist on the 22 July I believe, but it was getting closer to the first expected release of Ivy and Batman (weren't they once expected for release sometime last year?) and I thought they were going to be released and charge my account around the same time and that would have been too much for me to pay, so I quickly took myself of the waitlist for Batman.

When I heard Harley was coming out I had to get her too. I like the Gotham City Sirens (so am awaiting Catwoman to go up for order), and well it's good for Ivy to have a friend too (don't need the Joker - Ivy and Harley have each other! :) ). Not the greatest fan of the ex head - wish she looked a bit more bubbly instead of angry, but it was going for the same price as the regular so I got it.

Anyway, I look back now and think how foolish the move for cancelling the wait list for Batman was (as they're now not being released at the same time) and I have changed back to really wanting him again so I should have stayed on it as I can't seem to get back on the waitlist now. I was new at it all and should have at least waited to see if my order was able to convert and then when it came to shipping time see if I could have handled it, but I wasn't really aware of how it all worked then. So now unless Sideshow gets more ex in stock and I'm around at the time, I'll probably be looking around ebay at the time of his release hoping that he isn't too pricey and that he isn't too hard to get.

Still not sure about Joker, and whether or not I should hunt him down. I've heard how great he is but not majorly interested in him as a character, and so I'd really only be getting him as a figure somewhat to play off Batman or Harley.

:exactly: While probably not on SS's radar anytime soon Alfred is a large part of Barman though I'd imagine e.s. would be low if done.

Both he and Gordon, so I'd be interested in both.

I was thinking something more like this...

He'd be the only PF with a mop, :lol. But at least him holding cape and cowl.. something like that.

The EX will have switch out arms carrying a tea tray :nana:

That would be righteous!

:lol

I decided I don't want Bane. He was a better character in the movie than the comics.

I want Solomon Grundy instead.

I really though Vengeance of Bane was a great read but I'm not sure either if I'd want a Bane PF. It'll depend on execution.

That's the thing. If they were to do Bane I'd want the one from Vengeance of Bane, not the over grown, gross inaccuracy that he has become. At this point they make the guy the size of Hulk for no reason at all.

Some fantastic writing from Batman and Robin which I recall being delivered by Bane:

Bane is placing bombs around the room in readiness for an encounter with the caped crusader.

'Boooooomb.........boooooomb................boooooooomb...........'

Champagne filmmaking :rotfl
