I don't own a lot of pieces at all, but if there's one I really wanted it was this! Now I have it and it's great! I'll have to sell off most of my collection which is fine, but if there's one I can keep I'll try my best to make it this one! :lol

I'm no expert at taking pictures, but as the old cleché goes, picture's never do the piece justice anyway. Thanks for asking for the pics riky. It's always fun snapping some pics of your stuff and sharing. I'm glad I get to share this one. Btw S/o to Jeremy K9 for selling it to me. Thanks again man! Here's some amature shots.

OMG....i cannt believe it....they recast everything.

REPORTED AND EMAIL SIDESHOW

well atleast i know my queen wont get recast...too big for them to do it, and too much materials, only 5 were ever made. hahahaha :rotfl

If your talking about the SW 1/4 queen rod puppet casting,it's actually already been done.

There were only 4 kits made for custom diplays, but there were also the original pieces that were made for the higher-ups that worked on the film.I was told that they were all eventually sold off.The originals pieces were solid casts. The kits had hollow bodies that were foam filled to reduce the weight and the kits didn't come from the original SW molds by the way.The recasts are just hollow.

I got this info from a very knowlwdgeable source when I was inquiring if there was anyway to tell which pieces were original and which were recasts.

He's referring to his 1:1 life size Queen.

Thanks guys! The base is surprisingly heavy. Unlike anything I own or have owned. Combined with the warrior on top it's not going anywhere. Nice lighting sewbacca! I like your display! Reminds me of a warrior in the Alien 3 setting. And it looks especially slimy in that lighting! :hi5:

Love this piece but I need to get it up higher. It's on the bottom shelf right now. It's kinda heavy don't know if I trust the besta or Pax shelves.

Glad to see your enjoying this amazing piece. I think it's so cool to see one of my past collectibles in another collectors collection. It's also good to see someone appreciate it as much as I did. Enjoy my friend. :D

One day I'll have it properly displayed. Until then I'll take great care of it, but it's too nice to keep boxed up. :duff

How come this thread has been dead for more than a year!? Anyways, what would be a price estimate of this fine piece today?

I don't know, that does seem odd, but not many new people getting him I guess to add activity. I got mine a while back for under $1K. Expect to pay at least that, although I don't see them up for sale that often. It is one of my favorite pieces. I hope I can get a good price on a Chap and Dog someday to go with him.

It is certainly a cool piece although I do prefer the Big chap. I'd love to get one of these if the opportunity arises however.
