So has anybody heard from Sideshow today?

called today and was told its in customs due to "the dark knight boxes" she wouldn't comment any further on what that meant when i asked for specifics.

then i brought up when i ordered it said "in stock" and that was why i even bothered to place the order with them. she went on and argued with me for a few minutes about how that couldn't be true and about what their site says "shipping soon" means and what their representatives say it means (ie: two different things) and how it could be misleading to customers.

i also asked why would i keep being told it would be in shipping out the next day or within 2 days for 3 and a half weeks when they never had them to begin with. she kept saying its always said 1 to 2 weeks...
which it hasn't. it went from "in stock" to 3 to 4 week to 1 to 2...but not according to her. to her it always said 1 to 2 weeks

she refused to believe it ever said in stock without a ruff timed shipping date and repeating herself until i got fed up and asked for a refund then went and bought it locally for 30 bucks more.

what a mess, it will be along time until i ever consider buying from SSC again

I will also be following up with them today.

SS says they are held up in customs until hopefully Wednesday. Looks like I'm waiting.

I also spoke with them today. I was told the same the **** about it held up in customs. She told me that the original launch shipment was held up in customs because they say the The Dark Knights Rises on the box. They are being held because of the TDKRs relation to the tragedy in Colorado. I don't know what to think about that. I don't want to argue with them because I picture this lady sitting in an office being told what to say. I haven't even thought to look at my local comic shop, but I know they would be a lot more expensive, and it would be the floor model.

The thing the part that pisses me off about today's exchange is she told they would go out on Wednesday, and someone else on the board was told Friday.

i think its safe to say they are hopeful it will be Wednesday because they have already been waiting for a week and some change for them to pass through, but really have no clue since customs rarely shares any information.

hopefully you guys left waiting see it ship out before weeks end. ill finally have mind by weds now that i went locally, the only reason i choose SSC was they where cheaper...i can only put up with being told so many dates before i just lose my trust with a companies operations.

it would be pretty hard considering SSC doesn't acknowledge they posted this as in stock with no shipping warning for days after it became "in stock" again.

They don't have to "acknowledge" it. The question is, when you ordered it, did the website say "In Stock" or not? If so, then that's all the matters. You are the customer and the customer is always right.

"In Stock" doesn't have a range of different meanings. It means one thing. The item is physically in their store (or warehouse) and can be shipped within a day's time.

It doesn't mean "On its way" or "Back-ordered" or "In Customs."

Are there people who ordered from Sideshow in February and actually have their Batman in hand?

UPS said it delivered mine today. I can't confirm until tomorrow because I forgot to go to the mail room before it closed at 5

A) What does a tragedy in Colorado, that happened 7 months ago, have to do with shipping containers?

B) What do shipping containers and customs have to do with a claim that an item is "In Stock?"

Not only are SSC liars, they're really BAD liars.

Next thing you know, they'll be telling you that they'll charge you for Catwoman and hold your money for an extra 6 months before shipping her out to you because, you know, 9/11...

People that ordered after me??! Its a moot point. I should have had mine. They're picking and choosing who gets it and don't. That's weird.

pretty much what my conversation was about with them boiled down too today along with misleading and differing polices on the website and customer service. in stock doesn't mean in another place that is not your own warehouse.

there is only so many times i can tell the representatives this and the facts surrounding why i am getting annoyed with their service and this order...

im just glad they allowed me to cancel and didn't try to **** around with nrd's or other such things. i was agitated with them for this, but that would have actually made me straight up mad.

Great poses, Drac. Especially Joker. I like how you utilized the accessories as display pieces without overdoing it. Some people have to leave every single accessory piled up at the feet of the figure making it look cheap and cluttered.
