Awesome pics guys! I should go ahead and check out if mine has the same problem with the side body seam. I'll do that later tonight.

Nope, you should definitely not be happy simply owned handmade Arnie Kim originals. This figure is also necessary :rotfl

I only wanted to be happy with the handmade so I did not have to spend money. This hobby is getting too dam expensive, I was hoping since the sculpt did not blow me away (at first) it would prevent me from buying this and thus, I could save money.

The only issue (apart from money ) that is preventing me from buying this is the the poor QC that you experienced SAB. :(

dunno about the arm,but the more you pose it,the more chance of the torso coming apart.a better quality glue should have been used on it.

LOL sorry about that

Hey SAB,

I know this looks horrible but does this effect the figure at all? Like will the arm come out of it's socket or anything?

:dunno

No it doesn't affect the figure at all. It has no impact on the arms stability or ability to move.

So Enterbay have gotten back to me. Read and enjoy the hilarity:

Thank you for your email and sorry to hear that you are not happy with the product. Unfortunately this is not a defected item but it is supposed to be like that. We cannot have a seamless product due to the material that we use. If there's no gap between the shoulders, if we do glue the layer of the rubber chester tightly, your action body will not be an action body as it will not be movable. All products are like that if you check the forum and else where, people did talk about this issue but it is something that we cannot solved and consider as a normal features for this piece.

If you are not happy with the design, you can simply send back the product and we will just offer you a refund.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

I'm not bothered at this point. I love the figure and don't want to send back and I think even with my zero skill level I can fix this myself, but this response is just.... Thought I'd post it here in its entirety so you could all enjoy its awesome.

very funny EB..NOT!!.since when has the side of the torso been shoulders....a superglue type (loctite flexi bond) is one ive used, should sort it.but if your happy enough as is SAB...not a defect my a@@e.

I have to say this sound like a joke because not all the figures are in that state like your..this is a not a design.. this is a simply defect of bad glue and bad handling by EB..sorry for you sab..
I would like to add the hot toys dx body of bruce has a seam line like the hd body..his torso can move and is glued perfectly and I had to cut to repair the joint inside.....

Its not that I'm happy enough ...its just way too much effort to go through to get a replacement.
Others have experienced problems, so there is no guarantee I won't get a similar one again. Or maybe sculpt problems this time...

Exactly what I thought. Apparently Hot Toys can make the seams and holes tight but Enterbay are incapable .....and have now actually forgotten how since their Rambo figure has the same body type and this problem wasn't a big issue.

It is interesting to note they specifically pointed out to 'check forums' as others are apparently talking about this problem a lot indicating it may be more widespread than previously thought.

Mines has arrived but I don't fly home until Thursday. I'll let you guys know. I paid a little extra and bought from Timcent on Ebay though. I figure even if there was a problem he'd sort it for me straight away.

I could potentially live with the seam thing. It looks like an easy fix and I wouldn't display him bare chested.

Still a joke though on a high end collectible.

Chris, where can I able to purchase this loctite flexi bond? It seem quite ex on ebay. May want to keep one just in case after reading the reply from SAB post on EB reply.

:slap - SAB, this is bad as they claims it is normal, although mine have a small split but in the future after more movement it might split more:slap

Just thought I would re post your quote from Enterbay.

Saying all these figures are like that is the same excuse Sideshow gives people when they complain about their products. It sounds like both companies have read a book on how to brush off customer complaints about faulty products. :dunno

:lol Yeah SAB that post is hilarious, they must think your an idiot to fall for that BS.

I guess I will probably pass on this figure now or wait till I see it in hand so I can expect it because it will very expensive to ship the item back due to the size of it, if there is a problem with it.

SAB ..... that ain't funny man. That was EB's reply? It's a normal feature for this figure? ..... Okay that part is a bit funny, but not a Haha type of funny. My seam split isn't as bad, & I'm still waiting for EB's reply to my email. If you got that response, what am I going to get? :slap

I'm pretty disappointed with EB on this. It's bad enough their CS is slow, but when you hear from them, they don't even offer to "fix" or replace the body? Maybe they are counting on peeps to have a "I can't be bothered paying to send this back" type of attitude. Poor play EB. Poor play.

Sorry to hear them treating you like that SAB.

Instead of giving EB leeway time to get back to me, like I planned, I might simply fast track going through PayPal to sort mine out. See what happens.

They did still offer a full refund though at least which I would take if I was that unhappy with it.

Some people can live with small production problems, however if you were planning on displaying him without the shirt I'd probably get a new one.

To be honest I wouldn't even ask the question to EB direct. I would just send it straight back as faulty goods. If you ask , your giving them time to come up with some whack excuse...which lets face it, is what they are going to do.

Hot Toys are just the same. Only Sideshow seem to be able to keep their customers happy with decent replacements from their own products. .

I think SAB is just trying to laugh it off so he doesn't want to let this horrible experience get to him. Sometimes it is better to just let things go rather then get really angry with things because it sometimes makes you feel worse. Not to mention that if you try to return the figure, it will cost hundreds of dollars to send it back because the postal service does not deal with large items like that, so you usually have to go through an expensive freight company.

You must not know Enterbay well, this is what they are known for poor customer service plus poor QC. :lol Oh they will try and fix the bodies if they can, they used sticky tape to try and fix up the MIB figure's legs :rotfl

Yeah it is really the only way to get their attenion, plus many people got to keep their MIB figures and get a refund to because Enterbay refused to reply in 60 days after people filed a dispute. :wink1:

Hot Toys is worse, they have zero customer service, the only thing that makes them more reliable than Enterbay is better QC but lately they have been slipping with QC problems with Superman, 89 Joker etc.

It is good that you have Sideshow to go to now if Hot Toys messes up because I agree they will help you with refunds if you so desire but they still use the same excuse Enterbay does and that is "all our products are like that." :banghead
