The shoulders look great on the slim.

ESB Fett didn't wear gaitors so it would still be wrong. How are the legs on the slim so long? Better off hacking the extenders off.

So, since I have to repaint my SS boba anyway because of Games Workshop purity seal fail. I decided to put him together to see what the shape would come out like fully glued together ( and to see if it was possible anyway ).

I like what I saw.

Btw anyone know a way to get ahold of Dullcote in the EU?

Made the modds(vest, ab armor) to the Fett and port it onto the Jack Sparrow slim tt.

I like the looks of this on the Slim.

My two Slims just arrived today. . . now I'm just waiting for Boba to arrive. :lol

Of course, the Slims were loose and had no neck, wrist or ankle pegs, so there's THAT I have to deal with, but at least it'll keep me busy.

Ha! That's awesome, rnbuda!

On another note, after a month+ of trolling Toy Anxiety's site every single day for a Boba Fett light-up stand for Bossk, they finally broke another 4 Fetts apart and I got the last one! :yess:

In your face, fickle collectors that said the stand was a waste of money but then wouldn't sell it once you had it inhand! In your face!! :p

Also picked-up an extra flamethrower gauntlet and knee pads for insurance against breakage, as I've heard here and there that some have busted theirs. Anyone that wants any Boba parts should head over now, as they still have quite a lot left.

Helmet now $30, boots now $15... :cuckoo:

I am curious to know if this pose can be achieved very well with boba on a true type slim body. I love this pose but can't nail it with the pro body. If anyone with him on a slim cares to try it and snap some pics I would be eternally grateful :)

If its any consolation, the sideshow neckplug should work on a tt slim :lol

Even if it has a sculpted neck, the little ball joints work from the ssc body in the slim. You're gonna need the ankles and wrist pegs tho haha.

The TT slim is shorter than the sideshow body, so not sure why the fett posted previously has the trousers so high, My one has nearly the opposite problem and requires futzingto yank them up! (also I am looking for those hot toys ankle pegs that are longer than usual, what figures came with them and where can I find them nowadays?)

Its possible, just slightly awkward because of the chest armour being a bullet proof vest underneath, and the hands not quite being in those positions causing the arms to want to move to accommodate. Doable I guess (mine is in a bespin stare down pose I daren't move or I'll be refutzing for ages!)

edit: you'll get that narrow shoulder profile really well with a tt slim though - just noticed on my original SSC boba body, you can't have the arms that close to the body unless you hunch the shoulders far forward! + the forearms are too short for the hands to meet in the middle like that, neither is a problem on the TT slim

I actually had the legs straps on a little too tight. I fixed it after I saw what invictus suggested. Overall a awesome figure despite the color being off.

Yeah, I was referring to the barbell neck joint, mine has the neck, just not any of the joints.

I've heard that TFA: Captain America has the longer ankle pegs, but don't know of any other figure with them. I guess I'm looking for them too :(

My boba atm, and most people's on a slim I think are without the extended pegs so you're alright - I meant the barbel neck peg from the ssc body can be pulled out and used on the tt slim. Sometimes they can be tough and I admit to hacksawing a few necks open to get the peg out lol. I think Nick fury came with the extended pegs also

Is there any cheaper way to get a TT slim? Those are pretty expensive for a body.

I don't think so, I sucked it up and paid about $50 each for mine.

It's currently being used for the Red Skull body, but there's a little bit of extra supply out there, but they're still selling for around $50.

You gotta figure that even if HT re-releases them, they're gonna be at least $40, likely even $50.
