In that case it might be an easy fix of just changing the positioning of his left arm. As it stands it is just such a wonky pose. It's the kind of pose you laugh at when you see it.

Which is the case for many a sideshow piece.

So the next one in line will be Thane. I would never have expect that..

The more I look at it, the more I enjoy it. Hopefully Sideshow will tweak some of it; otherwise, it is growing on me.

I fail to see the difference in poses. :dunno

It is the direction he is turning. Also the issue is that he isn't just holding a gun with the Sideshow one. It makes the pose seem nonsensical. At least with the official art version you get the sense that he is staring toward where his body is facing. It makes the pose make more sense. How this plays out is mostly apparent with the positioning of his right arm. Think about what that pose implies depending on where he is facing. The arm seems to flow correctly in the official picture where he is staring straight, but with the PF he is looking toward the side so now the arm seems as though it was tossed out, as if he is trying to do some gesture. It is too exaggerated.

For starters, his head is turned in a different direction and his posture isn't hunched in the magazine cover.

You can't really see how the feet are positioned on the cover, but the statue's give the impression that Shepard is in mid-stride. The cover art doesn't suggest that.

I still love this piece though. It looks really good and the more I look at it the more I like it. I hope the EX is a helmet head, but I would prefer that came in both versions and the EX was perhaps something else a little more interesting.

The more pics I see, the more I'm starting to really love the pose. I never hated it before but it looked awkward in the few shots we had. But seeing the whole statue on the base, it's starting to look great. I love the base too, it's really unique and awesome! :rock
