I think it's due to the money marketplace, since it's valuable they want to have as much control as they can so that people can't cheat.

yea it's down again. played this morning for 4hrs so at least got some play today.

yeaa or torrent the game.
its all about pirate stuff.
look at max payne 3. they release console versions first so they can make money on that. they save the pc version for last because they know evryone will torrent that game.
but they are making pc fans pissed (me) for making us wait.

No it's all about MONEY. Companies make far more money selling console games. So if I were making a game I would damn well make sure it came out first wherever the money is. It's simple.

Even broken, prepare to pay serious cash for this one (especially the EX) its an absolute Grail! But its worth every penny..He is the cornerstone of my collection..I'm still in awe of the to the sheer intimidating brutality, glory and magnificence that is the Diablo III warrior!

Terrible game? Or terrible servers? Personally I think the game is incredible. This stuff happens get over it.

Ridiculous. One of the most lamebrain ideas by Blizzard to have to be eternally connected JUST to play. That works for online playing Blizzard, NOT Single Player.

Because they will be having a marketplace that has real money, and they need to make things as secure as possible so that people can't cheat, since real money is on the line.

They can have a separate game offline that don't interfere with auction house and online security. I am thinking they don't have the resource/time to do so. With all the years available, they should but it seem they didn't do enough for even online login.
Europe and Americas server are down....so is the D3 website.
