You know I'm thinking HT really could have made this release a hell of alot better just by including a smirking/smiling sculpt with this serious look. Much like they are doing with Sparrow. That Iconic Ford smirk would have done great things for this set!

I agree. Perhaps they are saving that for the ToD package...

I can see it now, much like Bank Robber Joker, TWO sculpts; one for ToD Indy and another as a replacement for the Raiders one.

People keep assuming there will be a Hot Toys ToD figure.
This was sub-licensed (not sure of correct term) from Sideshow right?
I wouldn't be shocked if it was for only one figure.

Apparently with Star Wars its already confirmed that Hot Toys is only interested in doing 1 figure per year (from what I read in the DX Luke thread).

There may never be another Hot Toys Indiana Jones.

This was sub-licensed (not sure of correct term) from Sideshow right?
I wouldn't be shocked if it was for only one figure.

The fact that Sideshow has been working on a mine cart environment leads us to believe a TOD Indy is in the cards. At first it was assumed it would be from Sideshow. But since HT entered the picture, it stands to reason that HT will make it instead.

The only reason a TOD Indy might not get made is if this Indy isn't profitable.

Although I would LOVE to see a HT TOD Indy, but I agree with this. It was sub-licensed from Sideshow. PLUS like many of the Sideshow Sub-licensed lines, HT has only been able to make characters that SS has already done. And SS hasn't made a TOD Indy yet.

gaah I caved and bought.
Who would have thought the not so perfect sculpt would end up being the reason I bought .... so many cancellations means their are Asian sellers on ebay trying to off load stock quickly.

I'm getting this for just under US$230 including delivery to Australia ...a box this big would normally be approx. US$50 delivery...so the figure is basically (give or take) $180 now
