Just picked up two of these, they're great figures!

I know I'm going against the grain here, but when I first received this figure I was very dissapointed with the leg work.

My favourite xenomorph figure (not rendition sadly) is the NECA AVPR figure. Although the Camralien is by far the better sculpt the AVPR figure had amazing leg articulation, standing up straight it looks very plausible. There is no "set" pose due to the free ballbearing thigh joints.

This figure, when I first received it had the unfortunate set mold thigh cuts. And standing up straight looked like a Mr Bean pose. Until I found that by rotating the lower legs out and pushing both legs apart it looked more believable. So unfortunate this (imo) less than perfect leg solution, considering the truly amazing upper body and paintwork. The brown version of this is truly just like the movie version.

For now it is my joint favourite X figure along with the Neca AVPR, the fact that it's the aliens version makes up for the articulation.

I'm getting the a b and c versions of the HT snap kit that everyone is saying are the most accurate figures of the X yet next week, so we'll see.

I'm still looking for my definitive large scale Camralien though. Any tips on the most movie accurate (large scale) version??

I still don't see how anyone thinks the HT Snap kits are "the most accurate".
But, to each his own.

As for large scaled Alien Warrior pieces, there's the Tsukuda Alien Warrior.

It's 18" tall and a very cool sculpt.
It is a bit rare and hard to find though. :(

I got the Tsukuda for £15.00 off E-bay a couple of years back :lol. Great figure.

I still need to get another NECA Aliens version after the one I bought of Play.com turned out to be a QC disaster of epic proportions.

Well I snapped and ordered another Aliens warrior from an Amazon seller. I already have the figure but it's deformed pretty badly with holes in it's leg, missing details due to poor moulding and it's jaw won't open as one side is funky to say the least. This was straight out of the box by the way. After buying FOUR faulty Alien figures I swore I'd never purchase another NECA figure until they get their QC issues sorted.

However Tankman's sculpts are so incredible I thought I'd take the risk. Lo & behold the figure turns up I check the head first and it seems OK. I'm just about to unpack the figure and I notice the left leg is completely broken off below the knee! :gah::mad::(

All I want is an Aliens figure that isn't deformed, has all it's limbs, that has articulation that works, you know does what it's sold as being. Is that too much to ask?

I'm sorry to _____ but I'm just so fed up right now.

I went through two or three exchanges before I got an Alien Warrior in good-enough condition. I ended up settling for one that had a slightly deformed left shin, but some hot water fixed it up. Also one of the back tubes came off, so I glued it back and now he's good as new.

I'd love to see a 1/4 Alien Warrior from the new factory.

I sympathise Jmek. Its ridiculous that something intended for posing and playing breaks so easily. I really hope NECA gets their QC under control at the new factory.

Here is my Alien Warrior, but it is from AVPR.

It seemed quite large, compared to the other Alien figures NECA had bought out.

Some of its features seem exaggerated, like the top 2 horns on its back and the tail is excessively long.

Ooh, since this thread got bumped. Here are a couple pics of my newly acquired NECA Alien Warrior. Also, the rest of my menagerie.
