damn he got like more than 10 :horror

$330 shipped, if anyones interested.

I agree. By hot toys slapping a # on these figures it drives the price up double. So who ever bought these early got ripped off because they thought there was only going to be 4000 made. It makes me mad that hot toys would add more and take the # off the HK versions. There's no way this figure is worth more than $150.00. People were buying these at the unsaved prices because they thought there were only so many made. ____ like this pisses people of at hot toys. I hope it's not true.

Omg said there is no certificate with the HK version because it is believed hot toys will slip some more mjs into production like they did with the Sarah Conner limited release figure

well toy hunters say they sold out so if they are gonna sell more they're not trying to hide it

Thank you for the support of fans, Hot Toys 10 anniversary limited edition collection of dolls have been sold!

So, to summarize the last couple of pages:

  • The Japanese version has the numbered cert.
  • The HK version is not numbered and will be mass produced.
  • The Japanese version is expected to be worth a little more than the HK version. (Yeah, we'll see if that happens)
  • The HK will be overproduced and will be valued like MJ Thriller or worse.
  • We've all been had by the words "Limited Edition" by Hot Toys.
  • Those who jumped the gun and overpaid when this came out feel like :gah: and :monkey4 and .
  • Those who didn't jump the gun and who don't give a flying F about "limited edition" and just want the doll feel like :clap and :hi5: since they will soon be able to get one at a very nice price.
  • More and more MJ Beat It figs keep flooding the market on eBay every hour, with some sellers having quantities of 10 or more.
  • It is still undetermined if the amiami orders will be the Japanese versions with the numbered certs.
  • 4,000 produced worldwide is and was always a bullshiet number.

:slap

Um, we still don't know if it's going to be massed produced or not.

We're only speculating (and hoping!).

I didnt care too much about the 4000 number, cause I think 4000 is still a lot. Was more worried about it being sold at events in japan and hong kong.
So maybe i couldve waited and gotten it $40-90 cheaper than I paid now, but I really dont care about the monye, I wanted to have this MJ figure (have the others as well) and I wanted it fast... So yeah, then you usually pay more.

Have to say it's kinda strange they dont put certificates in the HK ones.

Just paid for my figure. I can't wait to get it! :)

Does anyone know if the ones that are being sold through AmiAmi have the numbered certificates?

Mine does not have this red sticker around the logo. It had the plastic peel over the logo and that is all. That's strange you didn't get a certificate though.

Make sure you take off Jackson's head and drink the sugary goo inside the neck cavity before it dries out. If you're not going to drink the goo now, store it in a ziplock bag.
