Perhaps they're supposed to be part of the whole Lost experience, being of lower quality than even figures released in 1977. :monkey2

Maybe these are figures are supposed to be made when they jumped back in time and were part of the Dharma Initiative? They have an old school Mego feel. But admittedly they are major lame.

I'd say they are 8" Mego style.

Announcing one of the widest ranges of highly articulated 8-inch retro-style action figures in years. In cooperation with EMCE Toys, Bif Bang Pow!™ is proud to bring the original "’70s style" of play to a brand-new line of articulated action figures based on some of the world's most popular properties.

I hope no one here likes Dexter... they're coming too!

Over 40 licensed action figures are planned for 2010. The first are targeted for an early summer arrival and Comic-Con International: San Diego 2010, with others to follow later in the year. Included are much-demanded characters from:
The Venture Bros.™ (Cartoon Network)
Dexter™ (Showtime Networks)
Lost™ (ABC Disney)
The Big Lebowski™ (NBC Universal)
The Twilight Zone™ (CBS)
Flash Gordon™ (King Features)
Scott Ian (Anthrax)

I wonder if these will see the light of day. Haven't heard much since SDCC 09.

Reminds me of those 8" figures that came out about 10 years ago by Exclusive Premiere. They made all kinds of shows like James Bond, Beverly Hillbillies, Happy Days, Get Smart ect and they all rotted on the shelves.

Days of innocence. We did nt really know any different then.I mean,N2,Toybiz and Toys McCoy were your fix for movie accurate figures and that was it.Still remember being sad about N2 cancelling the Mad max Interceptor:lol

I was excited for these until I saw the sculpts. These had so much potential, let's hope it's just the prototypes that blow.
