Anyone need my PS3 HRAP3 w/ Sanwa stick and all Seimitsu buttons? If not it's going on ebay.

so these are slowly trickling in? I think I should put in a preorder somewhere...

Slowly? They seem to be everywhere, at least here in the UK. The SE, TE, Fightsticks, the whole lot... and they are even cheaper than retail. I can't say how pleased I am I didnt pay those ridiculous prices.

Speaking of which, shame on me for not playing SF4IV for over a week :banghead:banghead:banghead

hmm... I need to get off my butt and head to a best buy and see what's up with the stick situation.

I really need to start using other characters. I'm up to G2-B now with Chun and things are getting moderately easier (I can usually get two championship wins in ~1 hour or so).

I love getting the hate messages about what a cheap character she is when the sender is a fireball spammer or being called a turtler (since she doesn't have a stable anti-air) when the person is hyper aggressive and constantly is jumping in and trying to cross-up/combo.

I started to use Cammy a bit, and even though I'm meh with her and usually lose, fights are generally easier (and usually always close [less than 5% life left on the opponent]) because of her cannon spike as an anti-air.

Yeah i have to get back to SF4. been occupied with UFC09.

But the TE stick is sweet. It is super comfortable in your lap and just looks nice.

PS: selling this one since I got my TE. HRAP3 for PS3, sanwa JLF stick with all Seimitsu clear buttons (even start and select) which cost about $4.00 per button. very good quality and look nice.

:lol only way to go if youre dumb and don't know that youre wasting your money on that. The quality is probably ^^^^ and i'd hate to be so close to another person.

LAME

no need for name calling but hey that's nash
:lol i've played on a bunch of game sticks and it's the one i found to be the best. I was introduced to it at a sf4 tournament. Quality is great not ^^^^. here is a thought, try it first instead of acting infantile and runnin your bacon hole about things you obviously know nothing about. Plenty of space it's an arcade stick.

just modded mine with Sanwa parts. It's a SE by the way.

If anyone needs help I'll lend a post. I had a little trouble but managed to get through it although it was a bit grueling. The stick replacement was easy, the buttons were hell but everythings fine and working.

If you need a link to a guide heres one from shoryuken, but it's not exactly highly detailed, I can give a good tutorial if anyone needs it.

I didn't get a best buy coupon..........I just went to their web site and got it regular price. Should be here tomorrow.......

ordered a TE. :D

I didn't realize the TE was a square gate (though I should have assumed). Guess I'll have to readjust to the feel of one again.

Oh, so I'm assuming the PS3 plug is going to be a USB. Does anyone know if it's compatible with PC gaming, or if you can use it on the 360 with an adaptor?

Yup. It's compatible with PC gaming and I heard that if you want to do any modding for twin console compatibility, the PS3 one is the way to go...

hurrah. I may end up searching the web to wind the best way to mod it to play on the 360 as well to go against some new people.

nice! it's a good stick you'll love it!

I'm getting a TE as soon as the price here in Singapore lowers. Insane i tell you. But they are grady\ually decreasing in price. Waiting to get in the range of 220-250 SGD.

When I bought my HRAP for $SG175(about US$110) They were selling a TE for SG$400!! I was like ????????

But it's now down to SG$320 the last time I asked(3 weeks ago) Now that Madcatz has released 10000 new sticks and the fad decreasing slowly, I can see myself picking it up for retail.

Did you get a square gate? I'm really looking for something that's also used an octagonal [on the TE specifically] to get a firsthand opinion on the general feel/difference.

I was thinking of modding an SE a few months ago but the sanwa parts took forever to get shipped so I gave up.

Also, Nash, MooMooEgg, did you guys get yours for "cheap" ie around USD 149?

I got mine for the same price, shipped as moomooegg.

at this point im considering it a functional collectible, so its all good.

to worstgamerever, I have a square gate which is fine since I play Bison and it's a charge character without any circular motions required, it's great for square gates, but there are actually 'shortcut' movements for square gates for shoto characters, so its really not hard to adjust. ridiculously easy to do a DP or Tiger Knee or uppercut with a square gate, but I've never tried an octagonal.

Look up some reviews or google shoryuken and some keywords of your question like square vs. oct and you'll get some answers.
