Likeness is off on both Arthur & red suit Joker. Red pants aren’t tailored properly either.

i think they changed the likeness for red suit, if not, the hair definitely changed and im not a fan. he doesn't have that pronounced of a widows peak. even certain artists insist in rooting hair like that

In how awful that could have come out, it's gone the complete opposite way and come out incredibly impressive. Really conveys the emotion of the scene, really wish that would be a single release.

All the sculpts have a too wide of a neck. In the movie it’s not as wide. Throwing off proportions.

The Arthur Fleck looks off, I can't figure out which parts yet though lol. And now I'm so confused about how it fits into the $1K requirement, hopefully they explain.

What was the reason for the $1K requirement from WB to allow JND to get the Joker license for 1:6 figures?

Aren't they leaving money on the table by not widening the market of consumers?

licensing issue because todd phillips and joaquin didn't want to promote and sell merch to children or teens. there was a whole talk about merch between todd Phillips and an exec (i think) in an interview or BTS and how there are joker boxers/underwear being sold at retail stores and they did not want to give the impression that a character like this shouldn't be so accessible to the masses, especially kids and teens.

also joaquin isn't the type to like being in the lime light so there's a potential reason there on why the merch is so scarce. setting a price bracket means it would mainly cater to adults with disposable income instead of kids. the minimum price requirement almost acts as a deterrent for young people because who tf in their right mind would spend that much for a character like this.

To me these look great. I just don’t really want to dedicate space to three versions of the same character plus spend the money. I like all the outfits though and the dioramas are awesome.

J0ker's post above explains the licensing situation how I understood it, I'm really curious just how many Inart will sell with such a crazy price tag, but this Joker seems so popular around the world there's probably tons of people saving up to buy it at this moment lol.

Personally if I get this I'd prefer a pack that includes Arthur Fleck (if they fix the likeness a bit lol) and I don't get if they're making a 4 pack or what, that'll be one huge box lol

I'm hoping the unveiling of civilian Arthur Fleck is an indication that InArt noticed the lukewarm reception of the white coat clown version, that when the Phoenix Jokers go up for preorder there will be options for different bundles - one all-in with all 4 jokers, perhaps two 3-pack bundles with or without Arthur Fleck or Clown versions, etc. It would be a very odd choice of Inart to have a 3 pack as revealed earlier, and then a single Arthur separetely on the side, not bundled in any way.

I wish there would just be a single offering. If that was the case I’d pick one offering and be good with it. I’d pick either the subway bathroom or talk show look. Probably the best hope is waiting for the sets to be broken down after release.

$1,000 is out of reach for most adult collectors, let alone any kid/teen.

Do kids even collect or play with toys anymore? Not to generalize, but it seems like most prefer video games or using tablets. My nephew wanted Roblox virtual currency for Christmas.

These days, toys are increasingly more cost prohibitive and catered more to adults getting their nostalgic fix. I think GenX and Millenials were the last generation to have Saturday morning cartoons with shows that directly marketed toys to them (Transformers, GI Joe, etc.).

I will probably pick up the Joaquin Joker set, assuming the pricing is reasonable (i.e. not JND level), along the lines of the Ledger InArt 2-pack, which was around $450 per figure. Curious if InArt will release a Lady Gaga Harley for Joker 2.

I can do without the clown version, although the happy expression on that one is nice.
