I had zero interest in this as I’m not a huge fan of the film. After watching the video though, wow. I’m waiting on Blondie right now but damn if this sculpt isn’t better than that one. UGH! I actually think I like hm without his coat on the best.

I sitll can't understand why they had Yixie/Nancy sculpt all the other 1/6 Clint sculpts EXCEPT for Blondie, which is the most lacking in likeness to Clint. Such a bummer that one of his most iconic characters gets the worst sculpt of the bunch
Yeah I also thought the DH sculpt was off. This Pale Rider fig is easily their best so far, not got much interest in the character though. I would prefer a Bill Munny or a Thunderbolt fig.
Maybe even a Frank Morris - Escape From Alcatraz fig, I really like that film.

So far I’ve only preordered the GBU figure. I’m a huge Eastwood fan but can’t get every one and it’s my favorite Eastwood film so I gotta have it. I wasn’t super impressed with Dirty Harry TBH especially not including his Raybans. I can’t see not getting William Munny though and it would be a great addition having young and old Clint in my collection. But, if a High Plains Drifter surfaces that wows me, I couldn’t resist. I’m not really a fan of SS doing even 10% stylized versions of Clint but it’s certainly close enough for me to bite on a couple. Just really very happy to finally get some of these in licensed 1/6 figures. Now, if I could only have a Charles Bronson in this format, I would be so so happy! The Mechanic, Deathwish, whatever, I need a good Bronson figure!

Yes my friend, Charles Bronson as Harmonica.

It makes no sense to me as the why they choose to do a stylized/caricature version. They have the skill to produce an accurate portrayal of the character, why choose to do otherwise? Makes no sense to me. Can you imagine watching a movie, seeing a character that you really identify with and wanting to have that character, but hoping it looks little different that what you see on the screen, what?

We'll have to agree to disagree here fellas - I think they look great - especially (if the Harry is anything to go by) in-hand.

I'm by no means a Sideshow fan (when it comes to QC & customer service BS), but they get some kudos from me on these - the best we've seen of Mr. Eastwood as regards mass-produced collectibles.

I received shipping notice on Blondie, strange that Sideshow still says Aug-Dec. Maybe the second wave is early or this is leftover from the first wave? :dunno

My Blondie arrived early. The small outer shipping box was beat up, the figure box inside was lightly damaged as a consiquence. Odd as this doesn't ussually happen to my Sideshow boxes. I think the shipping people might intentionally throw these around when they see the box printed with Sideshow/Hot Toys on the outside shipping box. I wish collectible companies would stop that.

The figure inside is great! small issue with the snap on the shirt not being sewn down at one edge. The rest of the outfit looks good. Accessories also look good, I wish the hammer on the rifle wasn't as loose.

The head sculpt and paint doesn't look as bad in hand as some pics show. My critique is what I would call, super nitpicky. I think the squinting folds are a little over done, not by a lot though. You really need proper lighting to make them look the way they should. He's squinting because of bright ambient sunlight and I don't think most people have a light setup that could replicate this in scale. If I get mine in the proper light, it looks like it should. With light casting a shadow from the hat, he's squinting for no reason at all (not hard for Clint, but still noticeable) without enough light to see this expression as we normally do in the movies. I also think the lower part of the eyebrow hair should be just a little darker but, when the light hits it right, it looks fine, not an issue. Last thing, I think the outline of the lips should be a little more defuse blending in with the surrounding skin color more. Might be possible if you can match the skin color and blend in the outline of the lips. Mine also has that dark 5 o'clock shadow paint on the neck, I wish it was less obvious but it's not all that bad.
Anyways, I tried to take a good image of mine, I think it looks best in this one:

Wonder when notices will star going out for the Pale Rider figure , It's been out in Asia for about 2 and a half weeks , it's it's going on almost for weeks since SS posted the unsealed video.
