I'm still preferring the more expressive look of the Jedi sculpt.

Waitlist just popped for collectors edition, should I cancel my payment plan for snow pilot which I got on sale and go with this one? I know this is opinion based, but I was curious to hear some input. TIA

I would try to grab both, if possible. You already snagged the Snowspeeder Luke for a good deal and it is already on a payment plan to ease the pain in the wallet. Do the same with Bespin Luke. Put him on a payment plan as well, if funds are an issue.

but also that HT continues to not include relaxed hands with most of their figures. There should always be a set of relaxed hands, ALWAYS, with every figure.
What the is wrong with them. That is absolutely ridiculous. Their logic is probably that it’s not screen accurate, “but he was never relaxed on Cloud City”. Idiots.

Yeah while I do like the DX24 sculpt more, I just think it feels a bit "MH waiting between filming takes" to use for action/tension movie scene displays. It's great for that sort of "magic of myth" type museum costume exhibit type pose where all the characters are standing lined up in neutral poses.

I guess it works ok for the Dagobah scenes. Maybe HT will eventually release a battle damaged version with a more expressive battle damaged sculpt. Maybe an Artisan version.

The Jedi sculpt is good; I've never seen it in-hand so to be fair I'm not sure *how good* relative to what I *have* seen in-hand -- while I understand what you're saying about this DX24/25 sculpt, eye position and posture can help that -- not to the extent of a proper battling expression, sure ... but it can look more engaged and still feels the the Hamill-est to me.

So I received a waitlist opportunity from SS and as tempting as it is to pull the trigger I think I'm going to hold off - the reason being I already have Mando Luke and every other figure I own is from the same show. As someone who has only recently gotten into collecting, I like the idea of focusing on a particular show/film as it provides more opportunities for recreating inconic scenes from said show/film. Plus, I need to save for Ahsoka 2.0, Thrawn, etc. lol

So SDCC and Ani-Com are over and no weathered, Dagobah-focused version of this figure was previewed.

Is HT waiting for DX24/25 to sell through first before the gotcha new reveal? Or never going to happen because it's OT and to HT, OT = meh? Will weathered Luke Bespin go the way of Bespin Escape Leia? You be the judge!

I think they'll throw a weathered version up at some undetermined point in the future because they know it'll sell no matter when they release it, so no hurry.

At least while the core OT demographic is still drawing breath.
