It's funny, or scary, that Kit just posted the box picture. Could it be to prevent some cancelations? I know he wants to promote the products he sells in the best light. Perhaps he's sending one to breda (I think that's his name) for better pics.

I'm not sure what the deal is necessarily with not showing final products. Is there a problem with opening one to show off the piece? These unlicensed, small companies can be hit or miss, like anything I suppose. Plus they're protected by their "prototype may differ from final product" statement.

I was thinking the same but Kit also posted a pic of the Mars Toys Prank Villain figure AKA Cesar Romero Joker with just showing the box and that figure looks stupendous.

If a figure is great, it generally gets shown off pretty quickly. Pride.

Generally, if something is not shown, it is not a good sign.

I can't remember a time where an unseen figure came out well... maybe one of those Black Order characters? I just can't recall if it was a good one not shown or if it was that sad Proxima Midnight.

True. Most things are shown pretty soon. It's a rarity for something NOT to be shown. That's why the concern. Trying to recall when something wasn't shown but turned out great. Has that ever happened?

Could this be the first time?

Well, at the very least, their Immortan Joe seemed like it turned out halfway decent and fairly close to the prototype. Basing this on other people's photos as I didn't get that one. So... maybe there's some hope?

I am still confident that it will turn out ok. The lack of pics however is concerning. It could be that everyone involved does not want a bunch of cancellations, or issues with collectors calling out the final product as no where near prototype.

Like the Sideshow Ash situation, once that train-wreck showed just a few pics, it was cancellation and complaint city….

There was even talk of lawsuit with that one.

Unfortunately the only reason I can think for not showing it , is it came out bad, and the financial players want to protect themselves.

Really surprising there's nothing anywhere online. Some collectors have to have them by now and with this protracted gap between release and evidence you'd expect somone would want to be the first to say how good/bad it is?

Gotta say though, it does add some extra excitement to checking in here and seeing if there's anything yet.

I do believe this is the first time I've ordered through Kit, so very interested to see how long it takes to get to .au compared to other etailers I've used.

Based on the photo above, the head looks good. The torso looks slim though.
