Hot Toys celebrates Star Wars Return of the Jedi 40th anniversary

Rotj is a tough one because it has a lot of background characters that we would love, but hot toys never seems to make. I won’t even bother with ford, but like everyone said, lando sold very poorly or they just made way too many. Either way, I doubt any lando. My guess:
Rotj vader
Reissue boba
Leia boushh
Bib
Leia or Luke on speeder bikes to milk that mold
Another Ewok?
Stormtrooper reissue
I hope they go aotc and mandalorian and make a ton of rotj figures. But, it’s ot and it’s hot toys. I don’t trust them.

Yeah we're likely setting ourselves up for disappointment.

For new stuff we probably get Vader and Maybe 2.0 fett. Any other figures will likely be few and reissues.

Hope HT proves me wrong, but if ESB anniversary is any indication they won't.

It seems to me that HT is using these Anniversary years to get us figures that were previewed years ago. We got Padme & C-3PO for the AOTC Anniversary. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got General Kenobi & Kit Fisto for the Clone Wars Anniversary. So I’m going to guess we get the elusive Death Star Trooper. My other guesses are a ROTJ Vader & Boushh. And then some repacks of figures already released. Not sure we get more than 2 new reveals for ROTJ. Gonna keep my expectations low.

Difficult one since we’ve already had a decent number of ROTJ figures. In order of likeliness I think:

1. ROTJ Vader
2. Han Solo (if we don’t get this then there is definitely a problem with likeness rights)
3. C-3PO
4. TIE Pilot
5. Bib Fortuna
6. Gammy Guard

Pfffffffft, listen to you!!!! We aint getting all that. We will get:

1. RotJ Vader
2. Boba Fett reissue
3. Stormtrooper grunt
4. Armory Warlord Stormtrooper Commander with R. Lee Ermy face sculpt
5. A Luke Skywalker reissue, nothing new trust me
6. An ewok two-pak
7. Lando in a different costume, because if Hasbro has shown us one thing its that Lando is #1 SW character ever, surpassing both Luke and Vader.

I'm rather pessimistic about Hot Toys so I'm not going to expect anything more than a couple of reissues and maybe a ROTJ Vader.
I'd be really happy if we get something like a Boushh Leia though.

At one point I would have really wanted the ROTJ Vader, but the upcoming release from Obi-Wan Kenobi is a better option for me. I wouldn’t really foresee myself displaying Vader without the helmet but I can see myself using the battle damaged helmet. So that’s likely a pass if it’s made.

I’d like a Boushh Leia and a second Royal Guard. Maybe we’ll finally get an OT 3PO since we’re getting the PT version. A reissue of Chewbacca would be welcome.

It would be cool to see Jabba from Hot Toys but I kind of doubt it. Admiral Ackbar would be awesome but again kind of doubt it.

All I would want is a definitive Luke and a new Palpatine. It's not the most enticing of the saga for figures.

A Vader with Sebastian Shaw face reveal is my top pick. Then, a Endor Han Solo would bring us a lot closer to the eventual Bespin Han. An Admiral Piett would complete my most wanted list.

Definitely thinking ROTJ Vader but I wouldn’t be surprised if they wait until the end of the year to try to keep ppl from canceling Kenobi Vader.

Definitely also thinking many are right to expect ROTJ Fett reissue. I’m not good at predicting nor do I want to get my hopes up for other releases/reissues that said, would be interesting if they did an ROTJ R2D2 with serving tray and drinks to REALLY make sideshow’s obsolete.

Also, anyone else find it interesting that HT celebrated anniversaries for ESB, and now ROTJ but didn’t for ANH?

No Indy 5 license sounds more like no Harrison Ford at all
