Hot Toys: Thor - Thor Love and Thunder 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure

Somehow this gold costume doesn't look quite as gaudy/ridiculous as it does in the trailer, which is nice but still not my preferred look from the movie.

Still probably going to be a pass for me though, the fact that Hot Toys reused a 7 year old sculpt AGAIN - a sculpt that has NEVER looked like Hemsworth is just so ******* lazy and goes to show how minimal effort they are on licenses where they don't have competition.
I also agree that there is something less impressive about the arms, not sure what - maybe they need to be bigger/more defined? Hemsworth has gone all out on building up the muscles in those arms for this movie.

Here's hoping they put in some actual effort on every other figure in the line - especially that fur collar Thor - that is the one I'm really excited for.

While I don't have any Marvel figures lol I'm pretty pleased with this one, looks beautiful imo. Gonna be my first Marvel figure! I wonder if they'll do other versions as he has few outfits in the film

I wasn't getting this because I bought the last 2 thor figures but this is underwhelming. I am looking forward to the Jane foster figure though.

Then why bother releasing it?!!? It was Kenobi finale week but they want to rush out a Thor figure with a head sculpt that people won't even get, and let people pre-order the figure and find out what the head sculpt is later on? That went really well for the Mk85 didn't it?

I’m betting Mighty Thor will only have a helmeted portrait when/if they announce her. Blurred out head sculpts on the way for sure. I guess they couldn’t do that with this guy because the regular edition doesn’t have the helmet.

I think Thor looks pretty cool but agree with many others, the fur/roadworn version is what we’re after.

This form looks better than the trailer which looked cheesy to me, except for the weaker, *to be finalized later* head as others have stated.

Because it's probably not true.

Someone pointed out that he previously said that the sculpt was an updated one but then deleted his comment on Instagram. It's updated in the sense that they added a little baby scar by his eye and it has "new paint".

Usually a figure PO well ahead of the movie is an indication that the movie is not good and will not draw orders if seen first.
