This may be my new favorite Hot Toys figure. The Jedi Luke sculpt actually works really well. I'm tempted to use one of my RoTJ heads (at this point, I have a few) on the upcoming Bespin Luke instead of the one that comes with it.

Yeah, the neck peg on the DX07 isn't compatible with the new heads, so I just tossed the ESB hair on my Jedi Luke and I think it looks pretty good.

It is compatible. You have to pull out the neck connector on the DX07, and the new connecter connects to the ball in the body. The neck is a little shorter, but not that bad.

I tried. It doesn't fit. Not even close.

I tried the ANH luke hairpiece on this head and it worked, I didn't think of trying it the other way. I'll post a pic later

Looks good! How fit is the snowspeeder neck to the DX07 body?

Fits easily. Just pops right on. As long as you pop off the bottom of the entire sculpt of the DX07. It has a half circle piece that attaches it to the body. If you take that off with the dx sculpt the Jedi/Snowspeeder sculpt fits nicely.

I thought Rex was figure of the year until I saw Snowy Luke.

Got mine today , the SS is still a good release but the HT is definitely the better of the two.

Absolutely love this figure....

Quick head swap with my ANH Wedge Antilles just to see what it would look like. Would need to do some more mods if wanted to make permanent, neck is a bit long. I dunno, Wedge also looked a lot different in the face in ESB.

I plan on getting a second Luke to kitbash into Dak Ralter.

There is a big difference between the Sideshow and Hot Toys helmets...

Just got this guy in the mail today. It's my first HT so I don't have much to compare it to, but it looks incredible.

So it arrived yesterday, had a chance to put the helmet, blaster and lightsaber on and that was it, off to work again. I'm outta here early this morning too.

The figure is exceptional in every way, any inaccuracies aside, which to most people will be minor or unnoticeable.

I had the SSC and feel this is a superior figure overall. It looks very lifelike thanks to proportions, weathering and tailoring. Like a mini-Mark Hamill standing on the coffee table.

Sculpt is probably the best I've seen in-hand for this actor.

PO’d a ‘later batch’ from TBA last night the was estimated for a Q3-Q4 release and woke up to a shipped email- so I guess we’ll see what happens.

I’m thinking of hanging this guy from the ceiling next to the DX07 weather vane. Luke really did do a fair bit of dangling around in ESB.
