1/6 Sideshow Snowtrooper Commander

Apologies for the horribly uninspiring display currently. After someone requested an image of the Commander with the regular HT trooper. Just in case Tali doesn't manage to sort one out for a while.

I've always thought he worked well with the HT trooper. Even the cooler grey and white with the warmer worn look of the HT Snowtrooper. I'm really glad I picked him up.

I'm now hoping beyond hope that we get a General Veers at some point to round off the Hoth Imperial Forces.

Don't be so hard on yourself, you have them posed nicely. Make me want the commander even more. Only thing I can come up with is the AT-AT driver in the background, he looks a little lonely and misplaced The ideal display for me would be four HT snowies, an E-web and a commander. That would look real nice, one issue though is space and funds. My Detolfs aren’t big enough and the funds are lacking at this sector

When I've got things rearranged the Probe Droid will join them and probably the ESB Vader, both of which aren't displayed yet. If Veers ever makes an appearance then that'll be the perfect Hoth Imperial presence for me. The E-Web would be lovely but that would mean a second trooper. Bugger!

The Sideshow isn't bad, it's just not nearly as good as what Hot Toys showed.

Anyone in Europe interested in selling this guy? If not, anyone know a store that still has it? Seen only a few auctions on eBay lately and at close to MRSP. Wonder why since it’s not available anywhere I look.

Yeah, I currently have mine totally torn apart, rebuilding it using HT-derived parts. I've built a new Commander version of the chest armor using the HT Snowtrooper armor piece as the basis. The figure looks quite different so far - I've even changed the boots because I'm not a fan of the SSC boot sculpt.

All that being said, the stock SSC figure is fine enough - a surprisingly decent fig in-hand. Better than I expected it to be (though I bought mine for only $130 shipped through an estate sale.)

Hopefully will have him done around the same time as my General Veers.

I just picked this one up. I must say its a pretty nice figure. I always regretted not picking it up.

Looking forward to futzing and modding him a bit, mainly the hands. Although the armor on these gloves are from the HT Snowtrooper.

Passed on this when HT prototype surfaced. Still holding out in hope they finally put him up for PO some day. They pretty much have everything ready for production.

It has a few issues (too tall/buff, the usual terrible SSC gloved hands sculpt, holster pretty cheap and a somewhat inaccurate chestplate) but overall it's a far better figure than most gave it credit for when it came out - mostly due to the HT figure being shown.

I managed to score one for under $150 (some kind of estate sale or something) and it was like the SSC 4-LOM figure -a bit of a surprise to see how good it looked in-hand. I do have mine pulled apart currently for a few upgrades.

I agree, but I am pleasantly suprised with this one. I think it looks great on the shelf.

I don't think they made too many of this one. He is getting hard to find.
