This would have been useful for the “how did Joker get out of the penthouse?!?!?!” mouth breathers.

What do they expect Batman to just walk in and watch all the stairs and elevators standing around in the lobby? Cinema.

Honestly the updated Two-Face is only okay. The sculpt is a little soft but saved by pretty good paint. The suit is completely the wrong color and looks like a light navy when it should be more of a crosshatch medium grey with some contrast to the threads.
The hot toys two face is an abomination

Blazer color.
Dress shirt color.
Pant color.
Lapels should have stitching on the edges.
Shoes should have a suede texture and lighter color (something only HT has been able to get right).

Overall the inaccuracies don't detract from the overall look; just pointing it out because we were calling out TF's suit when nothing is 100% accurate except the actual suit.
I do wish the shoes were better

I know I have my own problems with colors because I'm color blind but the whole argument over what the color of the prop is vs. the color of what is seen on screen has always sounded silly to me. Who cares what the prop looks like. What it looks like on screen is what matters, right? It's like instead of wanting Yoda to be a full solid bodied figure of the character you'd want a 1/6 Yoda puppet where you can put your hand up his bum because thats what the prop looked like on set.
Exactly. Do you want a general zod figure or michael shannon in a mokap suit?

Well if anybody is interested in picking up a Two-Face, I noticed that Popcultcha has him for just $204 (around $220 with shipping). Which seems like a pretty damn good price. But I've been debating on it all day and ultimately can't seem to work up enough interest to even pay that much for him. Lol
I learn that a figure Im not willing to pay $200 for is a figure that wont have any lasting impact in my collection anyway. It will just end up as extra noise.

Of all the available Batman villains in 1/6th... which ones do you guys feel are worthy of display?

Ledger Joker? Scarecrow? Bane? Two-Face? Nichols Joker?
I would love ras in this look made to the full potential

Same for bane. I love his design. He can have so much presence. But hes not made to full potential yet

There’s a new Ra’s custom sculpt out that I’ve seen some people hyping up on IG and I think it looks like dog ****. Has a very square and youthful looking face. Looks nothing like Liam Neeson IMO. I think that Jnix sculpt is still the best out there.

Anyone else a bit nervous about the type of feedback InArt/Queen has been getting in their figure request polls? All the winners are usually MCU or Star Wars. It would be so boring to see them fall into that pit, just like Hot Toys. What a waste.

I just have a gut feeling that, apart from Ledger Joker, I won’t care about a lot of their releases - unless they do end up delving into licenses like Terminator, and cult classic stuff like Beetlejuice. Classic movies that have stood the test of time and haven’t had good figures. I mean, mobile games? Really? That’s what you’re going to gauge interest in your high-end groundbreaking 1/6 scale figure line for?

I know, “different strokes for different folks”, but come on. :lol

I think “Mobile Games” is a loophole into IP where Hot Toys has licenses to movies and TV. If they are allowed to make figures from Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes then they can basically make any figure from Star Wars they want as long as it’s “Based on Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes”… lol

Mobile games are extremely huge in Asia so that's probably why they did that poll. It's also really not surprising that MCU/DC/StarWars stuff is popular on the polls. I mean that's essentially why Hot Toys shifted their entire focus with those two IPs alone.

What do you think the average joe is gonna pick:
1. MCU/DC/Star Wars
2. Terminator/Predator/Aliens/Robocop/Beetlejuice/Old Cult Classics

Those of us that want the later are in the minority for the most part. Some of the cult classics still win through like Terminator but generally people will go for your typical superhero cliché in this day and age.

There's also the part where they need to make money. :lol I don't see them putting so much effort into a Beetlejuice figure that 10 people will buy when they can instead make another Batman that will sell thousands.

It sucks but it's unfornately the way it is. They're a business before anything else. I would hope that they get through all the typical big characters/licenses for their first few years, start making big profits and then they can start doing smaller risky stuff.
