I mean, with this first release QS walks around with the confidence of a Chad walking into an incel anonymous meeting swinging his big you know what around. Not only are they taking someone's spot but they're showing off hardcore. I just hope that jawline is as giga as it appear to be.
Yeah I'd hate for the rooted hair to end up like an OverToys Joker situation, I mean assuming a hundred people buy the Deluxe edition, that's 200 rooted hair sculpts Viper will have to make, rooting these takes a lot of time in order to look good, there's not a whole lot of details yet sorrounding who exactly is working on what, but QS may be expecting a low number of sales for the Deluxe version, they could end up shooting themselves in the foot if a lot of people go for the Deluxe instead of limiting it to a specific number, no way they'll be able to release them in Q4, unless they push back the release for the rooted figures so Viper can have more time to work on them.

Maybe worst case is back to having to find a good head.

How do you know how many orders to take before a certain limit is reached? Can you guarantee that every order placed at your site within the 3 day window will be fulfiled?

I dunno, I would still like to see an actual finished product in-hand before singing the praises of Queen/InArt. The prototype looks good, but that’s been the case lots of times before.

Not sure why people are so on the hype train for this without proof other than the fact that Queen has done statues, which are obviously different products.

I'm trying to convince myself to get the rooted hair two pack as Kit is willing to do payment plan for it.

That's why they have faith because all the statues they have done before. And the fact that Viper is helping them just adds to the hype. Their figures are pretty high end going for $500 for sculpted pieces to $800 for rooted.

A statue is one thing. They’re generally bigger so there’s more room to work with on perfecting a sculpt. A figure is different and something they haven’t done.

I have a very important question for kit / one sixth kit. Since he is not an official distribution how can he take in preorders without a specific limit? I worry that for some of us orders will not be fulfiled. I know sugo toys for example tends to take orders before securing the amount of stock so they end up canceling excess orders.

Because there isn't a limited stock amount. It's a time edition based figure. They'll be accepting preorders for only 72 hours and that's it. Whatever amount they end up with during that period is what they'll produce for the rooted bundle.

Yeah I'm very dubious about that as well. Because when it comes to rooted sculpts, there's not a lot of middle ground. Either it looks amazing and perfectly realistic, or it looks like a bad wig that got stuck on. And we just don't know if Queen is prepared to give that 100% effort for every figure.

True statues usually are easier to get details right, but no doubt with Viper's help they got a good heads start with making a great figure. I feel although it is a licensed release it feels more like a custom though this time the price is reasonable.

There must be a limit. Other wise they indeed are shooting themselves in the legg lol.

There's a supply chain Kit is part of, all the numbers will be reported to Queen, there's no reason to worry about Kit's legitimacy, he's the best in his field imo.
