Will stick with Joost so I can actually get the damn thing. Coming Soon: Vulture, Coming Soon: Range Trooper, Coming Soon: Baze, Coming Soon: Valkyrie, Coming Soon: Jedi Starfighter, yadda, yadda, yadda…

If this goes up for pre-order, I might buy it.

I really like JazzInc for what they do but I am not going to buy 1:6 Batmobile for 2000 USD.

Yeah that's where I'm at as well. As much as I love this new Batmobile, it's not something I really care enough about to spend more than $1600 on. So if I'm going to get this car at all, it'll be the HT version.

And I gotta be honest, it does look quite cool in the few shots we've seen so far.

Very curious how HT and Jazz is going to price these... I doubt even HT's will be under $1000. Their v2 Delorean is $800 with 90% reused parts.

Can't wait for the full reveal, hopefully Friday. If the film continues to do great it's hard to see this not making it to pre-order.

HT went all in on the Nolan verse, minus Ra's, and this is the most buzz I've seen for a DC movie since then.

Even with it being an all new mold, I can't really see HT wanting to price this over $1000 since they know it would immediately turn off a lot of collectors. I'm guessing it'll be around the same price as the DeLorean.

Yeah I think it's great that Jazzinc is trying to do it since the competition is great to have but if I had to pick, I would have to go with Hot Toys. It would be half the price due to them being able to manufacture it at a larger production number. Guessing it would be around $800-$900 max.

Frankly it always seemed like a huge risk for Joost to even consider making this Batmobile, with it being a brand new Batman movie and the kind of thing HT would be very tempted to produce themselves. They may be unreliable when it comes to most other DC properties, but with Batman they tend to go all out more often than not.

Jazzinc posted video responding to HT teaser pic.
I guess it came out all of a sudden this morning for him as well.
I'd say he should wait about a month to see if HT actually opens pre-order. Then he should move on to other projects.
I bet HT is also not sure what to do yet.

Joost saying WB and a contact telling him no one else has a 1/6th Batmobile license. Either HT is getting this license in very recently or it is a fake tease. Doing a fake tease on this would do massive bad PR as this is a high profile vehicle, but again this is HT.

So we're getting Batmobiles from Joost, Hot Toys and Queen Studios now?

It will be interesting. I think the company that shows the most restraint and doesn't add unnecessary things to the vehicle that drives the price up will do best. Hot Toys might be doing their same old strategy of teasing something that will only end up in Howard's personal collection and never see a preorder. The other companies should not bite on the possible hot toys fakeout. We are still waiting on a certain 1/6 Endoskeleton Hot Toys teased years ago.

This is a great time to be a Batman collector. Who would have thought that three different companies will work on a 1/6 The Batman Batmobile?

Like someone mentioned, Hot Toys has a The Batman event this coming Friday, so we will see what they have in display.

As others have said, Hot Toys has zero credibility until we see an actual pre-order. Everything else is vapour -- there's a long list of empty teases from this company that enjoys a great deal of immunity due to their dominance in a market composed of buyers with a compulsion to take what they're given.

I'll believe it when I see it. It also looks like the tease may be an attempt to simply hurt pre-sales for the competition.
