Yeah, the Redman head was recast from a Cult King release. It has since been cast multiple times since. Best to avoid those ones. I'm still curious to see what Sideshow ends up releasing Eastwood-wise.

I am definitely ready for an upgrade. Mine used an old Spencer sculpt and paint.

I think the Dirty Harry figure looks okay other than the hair. Seems a bit too exaggerated to me and that makes it looks more like a caricature.

The face isn’t bad, but it does have that Sideshow look to it where it’s not exactly realistic and more like an artistic interpretation.

Of course also taking into account it’s a Sideshow figure so I always want to see the product in-hand before committing.

That's the issue with every Sideshow figure, not realistic enough to blend in next to Hot Toys or other companies. All the sculpts look slightly cartoon.

Like Gangster Kingdom with a touch of realism.

Yeah. I don’t really know why they choose to go that route with their releases. Sideshow always seems to want to put a twist on characters instead of making them how they actually appear. Whether it’s a comic character or movie character or whatever.

I think SS sculpt looks better than Redmans version.

I agree. I went back and looked over the pics again and I think that it looks pretty good. Facial features are there and the hair captures that big hair look that he had, at the time. It is a difficult look to capture perfect and that's why it may be the aspect that gives it all that slight caricature impression.

IF we were to get this, as it looks there, I would be quite happy.

What might be the SSC EX?

Prefer not to order direct from SSC but the EX accessory sometimes sways me.

A fair point, but the reality is Sideshow over the years produced many disappointments in terms of design and quality where it didn't match the price.

Below is a picture of the head sculpt by Redman. Compared to Sideshow's version, Redman's version (IMHO) is bit better compared to Sideshow's.

Yes. I heard Redman jacked their DH headsculpt from a customizer (i.e., recast).

Oh yeah, nobody can deny that, but, there have been some improvements, not many, but some. These later figures are way better than the Buck monstrosities of old. That Cult King/Redman sculpt is ok, but, it isn't signature Clint. In one glance you can see that the features of the SSC are signature Clint. The Redman looks like he's about to laugh, but, the SSC looks like he's about to blow your head clean off.

We will see.......

Does look a tad cartoony (maybe it's just the hair, but the head looks too big). Still, I'll most likely get this. Need more non-genre stuff in my collection. Now bring on Columbo and Joe Friday to complete the Law & Order trilogy!

Sideshow has come a long way, especially with their comic themed figures. I say, let's see what they've got. It may be excellent. I certainly expect it to be better than anything from Redman.

Man with No Name, Dirty Harry, Jose Wales, Pale Rider, Gunny Highway, Gran Torino. Now, I'll sit back and wait for my 70th birthday before it happens. That's only 15 years

The Man with No Name looks fairly good in my opinion. Not a big enough fan of the film to want it though. Plus I would never plunk down $275 on a pre-order for a Sideshow figure.

One good thing is it looks like there’s no exclusive so people can pick it up places besides Sideshow and not worry about missing out.

One other thing- is there even a base included? It’s not shown in the pictures or mentioned in the description.
