yessssss...very nice and with the relreleases i can finally complete my orig. line :) Time for Blitzway to kick some HT butt :-D

well...there are some infos out there, if you look for them ;-) ...be prepared, people!!! :-D

Really liked Ghostbusters: Afterlife. It started out a bit slow, but found its footing about 25 minutes in and only got stronger right up to the end. I remember watching the original Ghostbusters in the theater with my best friend. I didn't see GB2 until years later when it came out on VHS, and have never rewatched. Never had an interest in the 2016 version.

Although I had been skeptical when it was announced, and the marketing didn't do the movie any favors, I think GB:AL is the fun and fitting sequel fans have been waiting for. It also sets the groundwork for the franchise going forward, provided it has a solid premise and good world building; respects the tone and heart of the original movie; and keeps Aykroyd and the Reitmans involved.

I don't know if I'll get another ECTO-1 given how huge the current one is, but I do like the idea of the Gunner Seat. Maybe there will be some additional differences and it will have the proper aging and weathering so as not to look like a lazy rework of BW's '84 Ecto. I would absolutely pick up all of the kids and Muncher, as well as the aged up OG busters (including *Spoiler*).

I have no problem with BW reissuing the originals, but if they improve the likenesses they should make the portraits available separately. It's possible they might opt for the lab coats or go with the '89 GB2 looks in order to differentiate. In which case I would pick those up. I'm sure there are differences between the '84 and '89 Ecto-1 (which is another way BW might get around a straight reissue) but certainly not enough to get me to buy another.

My list would be:
  • '21 Ecto-1 with Gunner Seat (aged and weathered)
  • '21 Phoebe (uniform, proton pack, PKE scanner)
  • '21 Podcast (uniform, goggles, proton pack, podcast recording gear, R/C trap, colander brain scanner)
  • '21 Trevor (uniform and proton pack)
  • '21 Lucky (uniform and proton pack)
  • '21 Muncher (translucent)
  • '21 Gooberman (w/several mini Stay-Puft Marshmallow Men)
  • '21 Peter Venkman (uniform and proton pack)
  • '21 Ray Stanz (uniform and proton pack)
  • '21 Winston Zeddemore (uniform and proton pack)
  • '21 (*spoiler*)
  • Terror Dogs (Zuul and Vinz Clortho)
  • '84 and '21 Gozer (the Olivia Wilde update looked great and had cool effects, but still have a soft spot for the original so would prefer both)
  • '84 Staypuft Marshmallow Man (head)
  • '84 Dana Barrett (possessed, red gown)
  • '89 Ghostbusters—Peter, Egon, Ray, Winston (if released)

well, let's put it this way...Blitzway is aware of the current GB hype and everybody should be prepared for some news regarding ALL of the GB movie franchise (maybe not so much the 2016 debacle though) ;-)
A reissue seems to be the most asked, however I can see people getting angry at others because they want the vaule to stay the same. 🤦

We'll see it would be nice but we'll see.

I would love to get a reissue or even updated/new versions of the old figures. I was never able to complete the crew. Venkman remains ridiculously alone.

Yeah, I skipped the previous figures, but if they reissue them, I might buy at least 3 of the guys.

I was also interested in their 1/12 figures, but those never came out. :(

It would be interesting if they did a straight reissue and perhaps that would be the safest choice so people that have their sets don't have to double-dip... but I know many would still be angry that the value of their figures is hurt by a reissue.

There is a huge demand for reissues but I feel BW should play it smart. If they have the license for GB2 they should release all four in their grey suits and the two Slime Blower (Ray & Winston). Once BW is counting their money and decide they want more…….rerelease the originals!

Reissues suck. Make battle damaged Marshmallow versions instead.

The BW announcement doesn't say anything about figures, not even After Life figures. It's just the updated car for now. Maybe they'll make the old man Ghostbusters. I wouldn't care for those.
