The faceplate looks great, unfortunately, that's the only part of the figure that does. A real butterbody.
 
Faceplate looks okay but sheesh does the rest of the figure look incredibly cheap. I would believe you if you told me these photos was of a Hasbro figure, not a $300 figure.

I know people complain that Hot Toys would probably charge about $400 for their Grevious but I rather wait and pay for that if they ever did him.

Have a question, one of the split arms has a crack close to the joint. Some of the plastic seems to have broken off, I have not seen any side effects of this damage yet. I will post two pictures below, one with the damaged part and one similar non-damaged part.

So, should I ask for a replacement of this arm or be satisfied that it’s not worse?
 
Yup go ahead and ask for a replacement and see what they say. I know some folks on here think it’s stupid to get replacements for what they consider “minor” things but might as well try to get things fixed before the 30 days are up. Imagine if you don’t get the replacement and then one day after fiddling with it, it breaks at that crack, but your replacement window is already up? You’ll be wishing you went ahead and replaced it when you had the chance

Your right. Will get in touch with customer support to see what they can do. This is not the only issue I have with my copy.
 
I gave mine a second chance with a second posing session. In under ten minutes my hands were ridiculously covered with paint chips. The elbow ‘spikes’ seem especially prone to losing paint. I have three of them mostly bald already. Packed it up and sent in my return request.
 
I'm glad I decided to not get him. i have my custom of grievous that i`m working on enough to satisfice me. i guess this version is worse then the original version. that's not good enough.

Worse? But...but it’s fully reworked and updated according to their ComicCon videos. How could it possibly be worse than V1?
 
Thanks for the review guys, I was almost placed an order for this Grievous reissue, glad I didn't.
Hopefully for those returning the fig will get your money back.
