Sideshow has this in the event calendar:

Between September 13 – 17, 2021 the Fandom Rewind event will have a totally retro theme! There will be a booth walkthrough of collectibles related to retro properties/characters and cult classics, other livestreaming content, giveaways, and more.

I recall Toy Sapiens has a Fantastic Beasts event that launched the two 1/6 figures. The rest of the world eventually got them so I wouldn't worry about NA not being able to PO these two.

Yes, I just found that and was editing my post!

So sister companies, as in officially separate entities.

Yes, sister companies but they are all under the rule of supreme leader Howard Chan, lol. I mean it's just accounting but you are not "buying" an exclusive right from your sister company. Also, I don't know if a magazine director knows or has the authority to disclose internal financial transactions so he's probably just BS-ing. Sure, Japan might get a head start for orders but I'm sure SS will have them if not the other HK retailers.

Indeed. I can't see Howard leaving easy money on the table.

A small run of figures would cost a fortune, and only viable if released on a larger scale.

Do people really think HT would produce Doc in his mall parking lot outfit, AND produce Einstein, whose main function is to ride in the Delorean, the Einstein figure even posed in the "sitting in the car seat" pose... and not also re-release the DeLorean?

Ah, Hot Toys.... :lol

What are you guys talking about I charge my sister on everything. Including exclusives. Family? Capital!

I would actually like to see them go back to the old stands.
Less clunky looking than anything they have come up with in recent years.

Hopefully both of these hit preorder so I can pair them with my Part II Marty and Doc.
Sold the Part I Marty a while back for over $500 USD, glad I did now, lol.

Yeah, i actually like the old oval stands better - takes up less space and blends in better with a display of multiple figures.

Einstein should really come with his own stopwatch.

the stopwatch comes with this Einstein (from Custom Figures -Dan Chung).

Also Copernicus.

those complaining about sculpts can just get a custom, pretty sure if the sculpt is bad some chinese company will come up with a better one.

Nah make Einstein only available when you buy all the figures and the Delorean full payment within the first minute of the Pre-order.

Hot Toys build-a-figure: Einstein's head with Doc Brown, and his body with Marty.

:devil
With the left paw being bundled in with the new re-release of the deluxe hulk buster, and the right paw with the new repop of the Tumbler. The tail will only be available in a five minute preorder window for a “complete justice league” box set of figures.

The new stands look nicer though. I don’t like massive stands, but the oval stands were never my favorites.

My favorite bases are like mini diorama ones. Usually more rectangular shaped, and with whatever topper for the ground/flooring. Add some details like rocks or whatever.

I have a question about the BTTF light box. I know this is the wrong thread, but can't seem to find it.

Do you just plug it into a USB socket? It says max DC 5V/2A.

I don't want to brake it.

Im surprised HT are not re-using the road surface dio base for Doc. It would work well with the parking lot scene.

This dio base has been used on 3 figures I know of

You could have like a scorched surface, when the DeLorean left the trail of flame & The Outatime number plate.

Cool idea. Would be nice if the bases of Doc and Marty would match together to make a larger bit of tarmac.

Although if the DeLorean is re-releaed I guess I'll be having my figures in and around that without stands.

If they keep the shells we can display Doc face down on the base to recreate his murder crime scene.
