The costume looks so well done its hard to complain about a sculpt I didn't even think would be included.
That said, as most have pointed out, it's an iffy likeness and probably not one I'll use on the figure.

Jake's not 20 anymore. He has a rather prominent crease in his forehead now, and it looks like HT incorporated it.
Might not be the best head sculpt, but sure as hell better than none.

I'm looking forward to seeing some in-hand videos and photos where the figure isn't all wrapped up in green screen backgrounds and photoshop effects. Curious what the dome (illuminated and unlit) and suit looks like in real life. Shame they couldn't fix the seam on the fishbowl, though.

Sculpt is a bit generic and makes him look 20 years younger, but it still gets the job done well enough. And I would have no problem displaying it if I had ordered the figure.
The headsculpt is what's making me actually consider getting the figure now. Though I agree something looks off about it in those blogger shots, I'll wait for more in-hand footage before deciding. I love Jake and I doubt we'll ever see his face in 1/6th scale again.
Whoa, you take the bowl off then pull the neck out, which houses the batteries and LED lights. Interesting.
If they released Vulture, I might get this. But who knows what they are doing with a Sinister Six. With that uncertainty and possibly going back to older Spidey villains for the multiverse, I'm passing. I also didn't care for the movie, so there's that too.

I really don't think the HS is as awful as everyone else does. I mean I recognized it as JG the moment i looked at it. So this went from a maybe to a buy for me.

I'm just getting this to go along with their Classic Spider-Man figure. Don't think we're ever getting any other Mysterio figure. It's also gonna go great with SooSooToys Green Goblin.
