You and me both, I know most here seem to be clamouring for Hunter but for me Tech is unique as he has such a radically different helmet and paint scheme compared to the others in the team.

Pretty much why i believe his build isn't really a challenge for Hot Toys. To me, he could even be revealed before Crosshair.

I like the armour on these. Too bad hot toys decided to give the head sculpts exposed neck joints. These figures will be helmet on only for me because of that.

Are you older guys really buying all these animated Clone Wars era collectibles and actually watch the current shows and movies? These clone looks really silly to me. Rambo clone and Go-Go Gadget Clone. I just can?t see how people could be invested in a Star Wars that isn’t “of their time” ya know? Like what you grew up with. I see a lot of old timers here that I posted with over a decade ago saying “buying this”, “getting that”, and I just don’t get it. How does this stuff appeal to someone that grew up with the Original Trilogy and/or the Prequel Trilogy.

I guess it’s just surprising to me that there are dudes in their 30s, 40s, 50s that are interested in owning things like “Ashoka Tano”, “Captain Rex”, “Robot legs Maul and his yellow brother” and the “Bad Batch”. Mandalorian I sort of get. It’s OT era themed with it’s aesthetics and “adult”, but this baby “animated style designed to look realistic” stuff, I just don’t get. It used to be this hobby had sentimental and nostalgia value attached to it. We bought what we bought because of the memories we had of it as kids. But how much nostalgia does an adult have for a 2, 3 year old modern show?

To each their own. I guess there really is a market for everything. My only gripe is, this influx of animated clone stuff has really buried the chances of companies doing the actual original FILM clone troopers.

Case in point, has Hot Toys even made a phase I Clone Trooper from Attack of the Clones? You know, the original white and black, T visored troops with the colored Captain, sergeant, lieutenant, commander ranks thrown in? Seems ludicrous to me that those haven’t been done yet. Hell, better yet, have Hot Toys even made any type of BATTLE DROIDS? You know, the actual enemies and combatants of the clone troopers?

I love this comment. I would assume there?s a bit of a herd mentality, or they just buy them because they can. More likely, they?re addicted and just buy whatever the hell is coming out, skipping some releases here and there. A lack of self control.

What's wrong with being old and enjoying new stuff? Should older ones be stubborn and stick to the past? Yes, I don't like HT's focus on new stuff, but that's their business. I like Ahsoka not because HT is releasing it before Bespin Han. I like her because of her arc in the SW universe. I'd prefer HT rereleasing Snow Trooper over a Death Trooper reissue, but that doesn't mean I don't like Death Trooper.

Good characters are good characters, with or without the nostalgia. There was no nostalgia when I had the original figures, I wanted them because I wanted to have what I saw on the tv.

Get over what? I'm not in control of what people decide to buy with their money. They can do whatever they want. It just seems weird to me that dudes my age and older have an interest in all this, especially at the prices these things are at now. At this rate with all the new stuff coming down the pipeline, collectors will never have a "complete" collection. There's always something else, some old thing made new.

It's weird what trends these days and what doesn't. The baby yoda thing being no exception. I totally get how a kid or a teenager or 20 something that grew up with the 2008 Clone Wars would be into this new stuff, but these old timers (a bulk of which can actually afford this stuff and make up the majority of the 1/6 collecting community), I just don't get it. It's very odd to me. It's like the Marvel stuff too. There's like thousand of different iterations of things now that its hard to keep track of what is what. Most people's avatars and signatures, I don't even recognize anymore.

Again, to each their own. I'm guilty of getting sucked into hype and buying it "because hey, it looks cool", but I've outgrown it. I want to know why other guys haven't!
