The headsculpt seems to have a strong likeness to Brian Austin Greene but I detect a bit of Hugh Jackman in there as well.

Huh, the design and accessories are so similar that you have to wonder if some funny business went on here.

Personally I prefer the Sideshow piece. The printed design on the lining of the coat puts it over the top. No plasticky pants, and I also prefer the Sideshow body armour and headsculpt. Undeniable that the SooSoo version looks great, but if I wanted a Gambit I would get the Sideshow version.

That said, I do have some bias on this matter because I enjoy Sideshow's line and I want to support it so I can see more figures in the future (like Bane!). A third party company undercutting them on the price because they don't have to pay for licensing, among other things, kind of works against my interests.

Fair point. I went back and forth on ordering the sideshow version but ultimately the price and headsculpt/ears kept me from purchasing. The soosoo is way more to my liking.

I?ve only purchased the tiger striped Wolverine and love that figure. I?d like to see more offerings in this line and I?m willing to support them when they make something I like. Cant justify buying a figure I?m not fond of just to insure the next figure I might like.

As someone with no bias who just wanted the best looking Gambit 1/6th figure, I just PO'd the SST one

Sideshow's look like what Sideshow always does.... little underwhelming. SooSoo's has more style points and pizzaz. I'll just end up with both, lol (and whatever Hot Toys does in the future).

Man I hope they do Wolverine. I preordered the first one that SST did but ended up canceling it. The latest one I just can't convince myself to get it. Just doesn't look right to me.

I hope you're right about Rogue. I have a number of great customs of her but could use a dozen more lol.

I don't think OSK carries SST stuff, they didn't put the SST Rorschach up for PO.

TNS and Giantoy typically carry SSTcarries them though

Probably sounds ridiculous, but I have more confidence in SSC from a quality perspective. Any SooSoo figs actually been released other than Katana and non-costume Daredevil from the tv show? I may have missed some releases and reviews...
