Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

So going by Joe Russo's statements that a soul taken by the Soul Stone is gone forever and time travel creating alternate realities instead of changing the past Gamora kind of becomes the most tragic character in the MCU. At least when BW perma-died it was more or less on her terms. But Gamora was sent over that cliff punching and screaming.

And yeah Cap marries a duplicate Peggy instead of the one he previously knew but at least his Peggy would still "know" him if he entered that reality after the time that he crashed Skull's plane. Star-Lord's new Gamora (if you can call her that) will never be able to recall any of their shared experiences built over three entire films and all the years between. Damn. Harsh.

Nah dude I got something even more tragic than that....

It starts with an H and ends with a K :lol

Don’t believe me, ask him...

So if Cap was worthy to lift Thor’s hammer in Endgame is it possible he was always worthy and did not want to embarrass Thor in AOU but moved it just enough to surprise the thunder god?

Lol at the sad shark pic you added. "Bruce" always gets screwed in the end doesn't he? :chase

Damn dude you can totally take AOU that way now. Thor's "I knew it!" does suggest that maybe he always suspected that Cap could lift the hammer but had been faking it for the sake of Thor's ego. I mean everyone in AOU tries their hardest to lift it without it budging but as soon as Cap gets it to move he quickly gives up and leaves it on the table.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

That’s a great question but nah I don’t think so it literally took him standing up and facing a world ending event right at ground zero in a sacrificial play to grant him an opening to accept Odin’s power and one can then view the arrival of all the heroes as that power going into him.

If that is the case I don’t mind it as that is cool in it’s own way but read what I posted because I find that to be more powerful of him receiving a greater power almost biblical like.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

But if anyone would be worthy you know it would be Cap!He deserves it more than Thor.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Thor just might be the most nuanced character in the MCU that dude goes through a lot of ****.

It’s almost as Odin was the secret Avenger there who said don’t worry Cap, Avengers, my son I got your back and saw that opening, literally, to grant him that power.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Thor has been through the most of all of them I think. Well him and Tony. Which is worse having your whole family killed off and losing the world you were raised in, or knowing your friend was friends of the person who killed your parents and secretly knew about it?

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

True what a bunch of ****ed up superheroes lol

Yet who can forget Snyder screaming in our faces “I’m creating serious sophisticated nuanced drama not that Ant Man fluff!”

How did that work out lol

Oh man. He's got to be pissed though. BvS was obviously setting up a Thanos-style apocalypse with Darkseid that required time travel to fix and his prologue war in JL with the amazons and GL fighting (holy crap I literally just had to Google the bad guy's name from JL, lol) Steppenwolf was kind of a preview of the AEG final battle. Would have been interesting to see how it played out.

And to think that him making BvS is what led Feige to allow the Russos to make CW. Thanks for your contributions to the MCU Zack, lol.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

As soon as he talked smack about the MCU fluff Feige layed down the hammer!

I’ll show you nuance *****! lol

:lol :lol :lol

I said from day one during fluff era that Marvel was infusing more drama behind the humor than what Snyder was coming up with.

Man Thanos’s snap will forever be associated with so many different events lol

Snyder rushed the story. He went from Krypton to Darkseid in 2 movies? He should have waited and developed the story and characters more. Having the director of Suicide Squad say F marvel didn’t help things either.
