I doubt that they'd disclose it, but I'd like to know how many Scottys are actually out there, and if this rapid wide sell out is more of a response to the QMX batch going so quickly or if there legitimately is a half or quarter production size to that of the previous releases.

This photo shows a consignment that comprised 167 boxes, each containing 6 figures (i.e., 1002 figures):

Yeah that's probably the smarter way to go and it definitely makes for a more exciting release than we saw with Khan or McCoy... although it still looks like they might have gone a little too low with Scotty and I'm hoping Sulu and Uhura won't be quite this limited. I'll be ordering early, but I know not every collector is glued to FB or sees every preorder when it first goes up.

I still think they’re going to make more Scottys after they sell these. They just didn’t wanna overwhelm the market

The way nanjin is communicating with his customers is the way every company will behave in the future.
nanjin and Asmus are pathblazers.
Kuddos buddy!

Thanks for keeping us clued in nanjin, proper communication with fans and customers is one area where I think a lot of companies really drop the ball these days, so your efforts to share what you can, and some of the thought processes behind certain decisions, is always appreciated. :)

oh and for anyone in Australia, or willing to order from there, Popcultcha still have Scotty up for pre-order.

They haven't made more Kirks and Spocks yet even though on the rare occasion that these actually turn up on the secondary market they sell for close to $1000...I would not be so sure...

Nice. I’m more s fan of the films than the show when it comes to Kirk and company.

Glad the OS fans are getting theirs, though.

i ‘m looking forward to the Wrath of khan crew.

I want Kirk, black robe Spock and Ilia from TMP

And yes, the entire crew from TWOK [emoji1303]

Sold out now.

I've finally taken the plunge and committed to these with the news of a new Kirk and Spock coming. I missed the original releases, and I simply am not in the financial position to pay aftermarket prices - especially living in Australia where the figures cost around 50% more.

I've got McCoy and Picard on the way, with Scotty on pre-order. I'd like to get TOS khan, but not sure if the budget can stretch that far. Bring on the film figures though. The monster maroon will look glorious.

Khan is one of my favorite sixth scale figures from any line. The pictures do not do it justice in hand it is amazing. The sculpt and the tailoring on the outfit are remarkable.

Need pics of Seven to keep me excited and Janeway!
There you go. This was the 1st draft that was done in mid 2017. The current version is much better. But 99.9999% I will send her to traditional hand sculpting for refinements. Her body will have matching coloring as the head.

All Trek figures heads will go through hand refinement after Uhura
