He's not involved with Potter that I know of. I just thought many were putting him on a high horse due to landing The Hobbit or something. Hellboy was "ok" I guess.

GDT is on my list because of Devil's Backbone and Pan's, as far as his filmmaking chops go. Blade 2 is a guilty pleasure of mine and I do love me some Hellboy. As far as the Hobbit goes, I'm really disappointed that he took the job because he will be unable to direct any original films for at least four years. Nothing against LOTR or PJ, but I feel like whoever does it will be a slave to Jackson's style, to some degree. I'm sure it will be a collaboration, but the filmic style of that universe is already established. I'd rather see GDT play in his own world.

Scorsese
Tarantino
Fincher

Can't believe I can't fit the Coen's in :(

I think Jeff Nichols will make my top 3 soon :)

Very good choice Teddy!

Fincher
Nolan
Scott (Ridley......not Tony!)

I have to mention these guys too:
Scorcese
Tarantino
Burton
Kubrick
Wright (Edgar)
Cameron
Jackson (Early to LOTR)
Edwards (Gareth)
Eastwood
Spielberg

Nolan and Hitchcock. Hands down awesome filmmakers.

Can't think of a third I would call my favorite.

Well, Raimi is number one. I'll have to think on the other two.

Scorsazza is up there for sure. Sometimes James Cameron is...he did do Alien after all. Ridley Scott.... Tarantino.

I don't know who I'd put in for 3 as there are lots of directors I like but my top two would be Jackson and Spielberg.
