Huitlachoe is corn infected with a fungus. It's a delicacy in Mexico. In America, farmers burn their fields to keep it from spreading.


When it is cooked, it turns black.
It's supposed to taste like mushrooms mixed with corn. You can get it canned.

He's not Mexican enough to know that. Why even Mr. Green knows what that is from watching enough food channel. The funny thing is his corn did turn fungi, from the previous home. It scares the heck out of him. Years later, it turned out to be a delicacy and more expensive than regular corn. It cost like 3-4 times the cost of regular corn, so he heard?
 
I went from almost puking from that vile looking corn to mouth watering from cheese steak pizza, and so quickly LOL.
 
Eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and French toast.
