Watching Buffy/Angel at work

So I started watching Buffy and Angel, for the first time, in order (according to the Buffyfest website) and I have been plowing through 3 to 4 episodes a day . . .

I mostly do paperwork so it is nice to have on while I am working . . . I just watched "Once More, With Feeling" . . . that was just amazing . . . these shows are so damn good . . . I am going to be so sad when I have no episodes left . . .

I did that several years ago. I had tried to watch Buffy when it first aired but never quite got into it. I remember watching the premiere episode but didn't like it too much. Then I would try and watch some random episodes if I happen to catch it, but would feel hopelessly lost.

Then I watched Firefly when it first came out on DVD and thought it was brilliant. So I set off to watch the entire runs of Buffy and Angel. I pretty much watched them in the order they aired. It was a life-changing experience. I was absolutely blown away at how good the shows got. I'll admit the first season of Buffy was a little uneven, and the low budget was sometimes hard to get past (although now I consider it "charming"). But once it kicks in to full gear...WOW!

I almost envy people who get to watch this show for the first time.

I'll admit the first season of Buffy was a little uneven, and the low budget was sometimes hard to get past (although now I consider it "charming"). But once it kicks in to full gear...WOW!

I smiled when reading this post, because I think the same of season 1. It's one of the less good Buffy seasons but I always defend it, because it feels, I don't know cute, charming.

Well as It's still screened daily on the Sci Fi channel in the UK I get to see an episode every day. We've just started season 4 the the umpteenth time, but hey I never get bored watching it, in fact I feel rather bereft when I miss a few episodes. :
