Ultimate Guide to GI Joe .epub file

I purchased the ultimate guide to GI Joe as an epub file. Does anyone or has anyone cracked it open on a Mac? I tried Stanza and Adobe Digital Editions but failed. I would prefer to check this out on a large screen rather than a phone or tablet. Thanks for your help.

I dunno if there are a programs for desktops to read eBooks because eBooks like .epub files are meant for tablets like the iPad or Kindle, and smart phones. I'll research and check though.

My gf told me about Calibre. I have it but have no idea how to use it as I havent tried yet. It apparently converts all ebook files.
