The new Rey (forgot official name) coming out from Hasbro is pretty spectacular for BS. Still, it can't match SHF in paint and quality of materials.

Still again. it's only $20. It appears Hasbro are trying to be better and I can't help but wonder if SHF has had something to do with that. After all competition is a good thing.

This is it, you get what you pay for. Black series are already pricey enough for parents buying them for kids to be played with. Some are better than others but they have their market.

I've gotten nearly all the Star Wars SH Figuarts, they're fantastic. Had been reviewing them on Amazon but apparently they only post verified purchases now, not sure what that's about. They've pulled most of my reviews in 2018 like my Blitzway Ghostbusters and Star Lord VOL 2 Hot Toys.

Oh I've got her as well and she's amazing. But haven't snapped any pics yet. I really only posted on Amazon reviews, but joined Sideshow Freaks last week so I could share pics and be part of an action figure community. Kinda lonely and lame doing Amazon reviews, I'm enjoying this place immensely because it's a bunch of people who share my love of this art medium. This is the only place where people understand my hobby, no one else gets it. Once I get some good Rey pics I'll post those too. Cripes, just realized these aren't even my most recent pics, my collection shots don't show R2 or 3PO or Qui Gonn. And now I don't have room for the TLJ Kylo, Praetorian Guards or Rey in my display. Gonna need to clear some shelf space.

Regular release figures like Rey do have the potential to be reissued at just about any time, however, it has not been frequent. For example Darth maul only Just got a reissue and that was largely due to Figuarts releasing a speeder bike and they wanted a supply of DM to be available to help sales. I believe HLJ has Rey available though, get her if you want her

Some Star Wars figuarts have had 2nd releases, Jedi Luke, Maul, heck even ANH Han just popped up back in stock on BBTS today. I bet Maul will be released again when the sith speeder gets released later this year. Depending on the demand for Rey, could easily see her being released again. Figuarts has also shown pics at toy shows for the last year of TFA Rey that has yet to be released, so whenever that goes up for pre-order you'll for sure be able to get a Rey figuarts. I just actively try and be diligent to track them down, I check Toy Ark daily for figure news and release dates, and BBTS for pre-orders and new arrivals and have gotten lucky snagging figuarts and other figures that way. Seems a lot of people on sideshow freaks know lots of other good sites to check out so I'm sure someone might have a link. Hopefully you can track down a TLJ Rey.
