Very sad news
One of my favourite composers ever,
R.I.P John Barry,
Bond,Out of Africa,Dances with wolves,Born Free,The Ipcress file,The persuaders,the list is vast,
One of the few composers who can quite literally reduce me to tears (I defy anyone who's lost someone to listen to Somewhere in time without filling up)
Truly a man who has indeed left a huge legacy..............

Very sad news indeed. "Dances with Wolves" was the first soundtrack album I ever bought. His Bond entries are unsurpassed. RIP

RIP..guy did some of the best Bond scores. That's what I will always remember him for. Without him the classic Bond theme would not be as good as it is.

David Arnold is the best replacement possible. He's done some great stuff. Everyone else is kinda ehh....for me anyway. It's Barry and Arnold.
