I had a quick question about sealing beard stubble that was applied with pastel chalk.

If I were to seal it with Laquer dullcote like testers, will it ruin the stubble as in make it disappear, etc? Or will it be fine.

Just finishing up a repaint and needed some pointers on how best to seal it. I've always used testers, but I'm worried the stubble will get ruined once I'm ready to seal it.

Thanks in advance!

Seal it with a matte topcoat. I like acrylic matte Krylon, but have also airbrushed Future floor shine with Tamiya base as well.

Thanks for the heads up!

Turns out the Dullcote worked just fine. Tested it first of course. And it actually makes the pastel chalk darker.

A little too dark for my liking, but ultimately I'm happy with it.
