Well I guess I always took it that the yellow emblem itself isn't a metal plate. Look at the last picture I posted- the yellow emblem is just fabric like the rest of the suit. The bulletproof material is underneath the yellow emblem.

Given the changes they made on the Hush Batman I think they'll adjust the emblem to make it more flush. either was this is a day 1 PO for me even if Prime 1 doesn't fix the emblem.
