More scary: female ghosts or male ghosts?

Even though I have never seen a full apparition in real life......well maybe just a few flying orbs passing through or maybe some shadow people during sleep paralysis. I have to say that when watching movies I always found the female ghosts to be much more scary than the male ghosts. They're more creepy than Evil Clowns. What do you think?

I haven't seen the remake of one missed call ( probably sucks ) but pause the trailer at 00:46 seconds and the face of the woman gives me the creeps a little.
