Everything about this screams low end. The poorly molded hair piece, undersized head, undersized guitar, giraffe neck and monkey arms, awful paint on the teeth, awful tailoring (check those close up pics). And WTF is up with having to add on your own patches?! How is any of this game changing and worth $300?! Compare this to HT Yondu at $250 and I have to say that it's insane that any of you can accept this and say "Doesn't look too bad."

I’m in China so I usually post on bbicn than any English community. This time it’s because there’s rare thread about Molecule8 product on other bbs while I’m trying to find more info about delivery date.

Again something seems way off.
If genuine collectors are receiving these why aren't the groups flooded with pics?
Everyone knows the story behind this figure so it should be everywhere.
Also the massively inflated views on those vids are now likely down to bots than actual views.

No problem. Last week I got the email from Molecule8 confirming the shipping address. The product was shipped out directly from a factory in Dongguan by a guy called John Lee.

The body is super heavy and the base is magnet. The glasses looks amazing. I’m a bit concerned about there’s no protection on the head. It’s quite dangerous for long transportation.

Agree. I think technically it’s a failed product as they made a big mistake on head size. Looking forward to a third party head to save it.

It'd have to be a new set of sculpts as recasting it would shrink it from a grape to a pea. Makes me sad as the sculpts were good.

Hmm now I would tend to agree with you however, if you look at the comments it has around 340, now compared to how many usually comment on figaland posts, between 5 and 10 and it seems they are having a hell of a lot more traffic than usual.
