yeah that black getter is amazing looking. I dont have any of the Fewture Getters because I dont want to drop the cash on them, but I gotta say ive been eyeing the black getter. Even the new Shin Getter that released recently looks really freaking nice.

Yeah buts its also a big deal because its the Black Getter which you dont see alot of not to mention the sculptor passed away a couple of years ago.

I heard about the sculptor passing away. So is this based off of his sculpt? Is it basically a remake of the original black getter that he sculpted. Wish I could remember his name. That would be awesome if it was tho. I've always wanted that figure. Big and heavy.

I watched the first episode on youtube a while back. Seemed pretty cool and I wish they would do some of those bad guy robots. Some pretty cool re-designs on Garada and Doublas as well as the main bad guy.

Yeah id like to get a maz Skl as well, but like you I cant deal with those crazy prices.

Hey there Foe!!

Well, I watched it last night,
and honestly, it's badass!!
I was pleasantly surprised by it...
I didn't want to watch them online, and I'm glad I waited for the BD...

The story is completely something else and it has pretty much nothing to do with either Mazinger or Mazinkaiser, but I liked it a lot!
The Mechas are pretty awesome and it kind of works as a futuristic vision of Mazinger and Aflodai/Venus designs adopted for Mecha armies... Also the nod to Devil Lady is pretty awesome!
Very cool stuff!

Apparently there's a Manga along with the series, and Mazinger appears there... curious to know if it's available in English...

Hey Kuzeh, yeah Id like to know if this was going to be release here in the states. Where did you get the BD from. Id like to own that as well or even a dvd copy. I watched the first episode online because I didnt know where else to go really.

Some of my favorite figures are my Bandai Soul of Chogokin figures. You can probably still find some of them on eBay. They're only about 6" tall but really nice quality and a lot of steel parts. I've got Mazinger, Mazinger OVA, Doublas, Garada, and Boss Borot. Lots of little extras with them.

Yep, I have a lot of the early SOCs and a few of the newer Super Robot chogos. I have to say some of my favorite figures are also my SOCs.

No one, I mean no one, not one person ever heard of him in my circle of life.

Raideen kicked ass as a show and as a giant robot toy in the 70's when I owned him

I have to get the dvd one day.

I was very young at the time, that show was so advanced for the american audience.

Anime girls underwear in a cartoon in the US in the 70's

Oh well, that was the decade that didn't mind.

Raideen and his pilot were a bad ass team.

The opening and closing soundtrack is a classic, I can sing it.

I know Raideen, depending on where you were from, I also seen it as Raydeen. Yeah I grew up watching Getter Robo G which was basically Starvengers in the US. As a kid it was all part of Force Five which also showed Gaiking and Grendizer and Dangard Ace. Those cartoons shaped my childhood man. Sorry to spam it up with videos but its just to awesome to not post these intros.
